Last week i felt my baby move for the first time, it was amazing. JAmie has been kicking on and off ever since. Jamie seems to kick more when Daddy is a round. He felt Jamie kick the other night and his face dropped, and he had tears in his eyes. Is anyone elses baby more active when their partner is around?

No mine seems to stop moving whenever my hubby puts his hand on my belly much to my frustration. Does anyone know how many weeks pg you were/are when OH can start to feel baby move?

Hi, i was about 18 weeks when i first felt our baby move and my OH first felt the baby move at about 20 weeks, the little one is pretty much active all the time now but at first did seem to quieten down when my OH was about. not now though the little one is quite the wriggler although there isn't much room.

I think I've got too much maternal habitus (fat) surrounding baby for OH to feel!!

My boyfriend seems to scare baby whenever he tries to talk to it as the baby refuses to do anymore kicks (even if it's been kicking away like mad previously!). It's hilarious!!!! Poor Daddy!!!

I cant remember my first baby being so active- you could SEE by belly move when baby kicked and wriggled at 18 weeks it really goes like mad- it tends to stop or slow down if it gets disturbed!! my partner talks to my bump and when he stops talking I find baby has a little wriggle afterwards!!

I first felt my baby move at about 17 weeks (flutters) then a good kick from about 19 weeks. My husband felt baby move at about 20 weeks. I'm now 26+5!! If I tell my husband to feel the baby move, the baby stops moving, but if we're lying in bed at night and he puts his hand the my bump the baby will have a wriggle about I think the baby knows when the BOSS is about (ha ha)

  I'm just not seeing anything move, still think the flab has a lot to do with it! I REALLY want OH to feel it and it is just not happening. I'm sooooooooooo impatient!

My girls were quite active and usually 'performed' for daddy. My 3rd was active for me, sometimes for daddy but if the girls were there he'd be as still as a mouse and as soon as they went away, he'd start moving again!!! This one seems quite aimiable as he moves whenever anybody is around and can normally be 'prodded' into action too!! x

hi my baby is most active at night when lying in bed. if OH tries to feel baby does stop most of the time unless OH leaves hand there for ages! i think the babies know when their mummy has her hand there and not daddy!! as for other people trying to feel, forget it baby stops immediately!!! i'd love to know what limb is prodding though as i have no idea!!!! xx
