Has anyone been prescibed prednisolone following previous mc during the 1st trimester of their next pregnancy?

I have had 3 mc (with a baby inbetween 2 and 3) and had blood tests taken after the 3rd one, I went back to see the consultant last week at 6 weeks pregnant and he said I needed to take 20mg prednisolone a day plus progesterone suppositories x2 daily, He rushed us out before we could ask any questions and although I have started taking them I am worried about side effects etc,

It would be really good to hear from anyone who has or is taking prednisolone!

I cant really help much but didn't want to read and run!
I take prednisolone most of the time and I had a mc Sep last year. I take steroids as I have arthritis and crohn's disease and have been told all along that this would not interfere with pregnancy at all and that my body needed the extra help to carry the baby - so without steroids I wouldn't have a bubba to worry about! I am on entocort which is a different type of steroid but have also had steroid injections into some of my joints since I have been pregnant and all is great with bub so try not to worry. I am now 26+6.
My cousin also had to take prednisolone the whole way through her pregnancies and she has 2 beautiful and healthy children and a third on it's way! x x
