Losing hope

It took me 10/11 months to conceive and I got my bfp in December. I had loads of problems with weird periods. I had loads of spotting in between. Mostly before AF each month. At its worst I was spotting 10-14 days before AF. My gp wasn't interested in my concerns and I was left to del with it on my own. I tried taking a high dose of vitamin b6 and I don't know if this was the reason why but the spotting stopped and then I to my BFP on Christmas day. It seemed too good to be true and it was. At 10 weeks I had bleeding and found out I had miscarried at 6 weeks. I went through a natural misscarriage on 4th feb this year. As soon as this happened I felt like my midwife abandoned me. It felt like I didn't matter anymore. Ever since the misscarriage the sporting in between cycles has started again. I have tried the b6 have spent a fortune on Zita West supplements but this has made no difference. Im 32 now and feel like time is running out. Don't know why I'm posting this. I just wish I hadnt left it so late tttc.

Hello brandnewwifey - am so sorry to hear how sad you have been. Don't worry about your age please, you do still have time at 32. You haven't said but have you had any checks done on your hromones in general through your cycle (thinking here about the spotting - could be low progesterone or just that your homrones are out of kilter)? Mc is such a lonely experience to go through but don't feel alone - there are others on the board here with sad stories who have gone on to have some wonderful stories of success.

Come and join us on ttc after miscarriage - its been quiet recently but hopefully a few people are around and we can pick up again, it is a good place normally for support.

Hi Apple, thank you for replying. I have had a day 21 progesterone test done twice now and both times the reult was in the 40s. I also ad a cmera in my womb last year to look for a polyp but i was told everything looked normal. My gp makes me feel like Im a hypochondriact but my latest cycle as an example...As predicted I started having brown spotting on day 24 of my cycle on 25th July.I didn't have my actual period unil day 29 of my cycle on Monday so 5 full days spotting old blood. I had 2 days of really heavy bleeding. Sorry I know this is gross but when I went to the loo it literally poured out. Ever since then I've had the brown spotting again. This can't be normal. I would get private tests one but I don't have a clue where to start and old probably need. Referral from my gp anyway which would be a no go.

Thanks again for your message. I don't normally come on here anymore but just needed to vent! X
