Hi everyone! I am new to this site. I joined the forum with the hope to find answers and support with the situation I am in.

I am married for 4 years. I was taking pills (contraception) for about 2 years and then stopped in 2009. My husband and I decided that we are ready to start a family. Since we have our home and jobs sorted and everything is in place. It took more than a year for me to get pregnant after the pill. My period is regular... In November 2010 I missed a period so We decided to do a pregnancy test. It was positive. My husband and I were so excited. We bought Cot, Pram and everything else for the nursery.

But I had a miscarriage on 5 January 2011. It was aweful. I had the best Christmas present but lost it. I was supposed to go for the first scan but we didn't make it that far.

We were told to wait after a normal period to start again. I had my first period in February but none in March. Then I had it again in April... it's been regular since then.

It's been 7 months and still NOT pregant.

Does anyone been in the same situation as me? Please help xx

hi i also found out i was pregnant in november and 2days later i had i MC! its so horrible sorry for your loss! its been nearly 9 month now and found out a week ago im 5wks pregnant im so happy but scared its going to happen agian!!

Hi, Sorry to G/C but I wanted to offer you some positiveness.

I found out I was pregnant May 2008 on my husbands birthday and we were thrilled, I then started bleeding and had a mc confirmed over the easter break. I too was told to wait for my period to come before trying again. I had two full cycles and I conceived my daughter who was born Feb 2009. I am now pregnant again and touch wood it's going well.

I know at the time it seems like an eternity waiting to get pregnant again, but you will. Try and stay positive, your time will come

Hi, just to say...sort of true that it happens when you don't expect. I had missed miscarriage in aug 2009 then miscarried naturally. It then took me until april 2011 to conceive again... After ' really trying'! To discover on early scan at 8 weeks wasn't as it should be so had an erpc first week of june.

This was followed by fertility appointments that said my best and prob only chance of having a baby would be ivf, but not nhs (aug 11 th) so hope was not good!

However I have just discovered pregnant again after only having 2pm periods. a shock! Now hoping it stays there.

I'm 38 not slimmest and husband not best sperm! So seems is possible! I always do tesco ovulation strips.

hi. i miscarried in july but am now 6 weeks pregnant so hang in there and when the time is right it will go the way you want. i am scared with this pregnancy though so keeping it quiet until i have my first scan.
