Hello lovelie ladies

Just thought it would be nice to have a catch up with all our ttc after mc graduates.

We've had some lovelie BA's this last week from Lauz & Clarehair, anyone heard from Glimmer or how she is doing as not seen a BA from her yet. Soon it will be L&NABB & then the rest of us!!.

Little update from me I am 18 wks & on my ticker (that I havent posted on threads) baby is right in the middle of the ticker line!!! Can you beleive it!!!

I have a nicely growing bump that isnt massive like i've been told but just right as far as I am concerned.

And as from today I am a lady of leisure on medical suspension with full pay due to problems with work, thats a whole other story (see my post in PAI if your interested).

We have bought a couple of things, like 2 cellular blankets & 3 neutral outfits, we've looked at cots & travel systems & think we have decided on what we would like but we will not be making any large purchases till later on. Mum has also bought some vests in newborn & 0-3 months.

So how is everyone else doing???

xxxxx

Hey there!

I was just thinking of Lauz yesterday - must search out her birth announcement!

Well I'm 24 weeks, give or take - my bump is nice and manageable and doesn't get in my way too much. I have been having loads of movement although I haven't figured out if it has a pattern to it yet! I do get very very tired though - today I had to take the bus INTO town as well as back, which I never do.

Sorry to hear you've had trouble at work - after all the effort you went through to get a job - typical! But I hope that nesting and window shopping help keep you busy!

Hi girls, lovely to read your catch - ups!

I am 13 weeks tomorrow and had my scan today so am currently on cloud 9
All well, baby looks fab, little arms and legs and everything!! Such a difference between our 8 week scan and todays.
Starting to feel less sick but still very tired and so excited about telling the world now. Told my work colleagues today and they were chuffed, many had guessed!
Love to you both,
MrsH and little pud xx

Hi lovelies

Great to see how you are both doing.

M&S I plan on resting till the end of July & then maybe taking on some temp jobs, hoping that if OH is doing well that I wont have to work! That would be a result eh!!

24 wks wow sometimes I cant beleive that we are actually here!!! I know what you mean by the tiredness I thought that it would ease up in the 2nd trimester but no sych luck!!!

MrsHx how great that you are past 12wks I bet it feels like it's dragged, it's gona fly by now I swear. Such an amazing difference in the scans isnt it, did you get some good pics?? xxx

Hi girls not been on here for a bit so it's nice to catch up on everyone's progress and good to hear that bumps are coming along nicely!! Laujai can't believe your 20 week scan is coming up time is really flying in!

I'm 38 weeks today now living with my parents and eagerly awaiting completion of our new house which is now due to complete at end of July. So next month is going to be extremely busy I'm just hoping that the (thus far) incompetent sales staff improve and don't make our time any harder.

hi girlies,
all is well with me. after a tough weekend on call, I'm now on leave for 2 weeks, then only go back for 3.5wks before may leave. unfortunately still have one last weekend on call before the end. but I guess psychologically getting through it will be easier if I know I don't have to do it again.

pushchair came yesterday, so been having fun playing with that. 2nd coat paint went on nursery this morning. had 28 wks midwife appt today and all is well. going off on a UK mini-break for 4 days tomorrow. all is good

Hi ladies, great to hear how everyone is! Well I'm 13+5 today and have a private gender scan booked for the 20th July, sooo excited for that! I'm finally starting to relax and really enjoy every second (though the labour dreams are starting already  :lol

Hope you have a lovely break Gems! xx

Wow gemgems you're really far now

I can't believe how many of have 'graduated' and how far we all are now

Well I'm 15+4 today and bump is growing well ( I LOVE having a bump!!) I've not felt bubs yet, which I am desperate for but I know that it's still ealry days, especcially for a first baby.

I've brought quite a few things now (Nothing major but essentials) and managed to get some real bargains from car boot sales to try and save some money and add a few toiletries to the shop for the last 2 weeks so that we don't notice the cost so much.

I've narrowed the pram choices down, though hubby hasn't really looked at them yet - we'll wait until about 25 or so weeks before we buy any big things anyway.

I think (touch wood) that I'm now entering the glowing stage, I'm not as tired and am starting to feel pretty good, I just love, LOVE being pregnant

Hello! its so lovely to read how everyone is! Glad you are all so well and isn't it going quickly now?

I am 36+3 and moving house on Friday/Saturday so feeling really stressed at the moment. Just want to get it done and then I can relax. Also need to pack hospital bag, get babies things washed, decorate nursery, Neve's bedroom and order furniture, curtains and cotbed mattress - aarrgh!

Was mortified to find out tonight that the idiots at BT have tried to disconnect the people who we are buying the house from early and connect us - am going to have to go round tomorrow now and explain that it was BT and not me trying to chase them out of the house!

Had hospital tour tonight as well and was really impressed with how nice it is although it was really hot in there but I would really like a water birth and the birthing pool looked fab so quite excited about that.

Laujai I read your thread about work and am glad to see it turned out ok.

Looking forward to reading about all the 20 week scans.

Ahhh so lovely to have a catch up, there are just a couple of ladies missing that I would really love to see over here.

Cant beleive how quickly it is going for all of us.

Especially DM & L&N&BB!!

I am getting desperate for 20wk scan now LOL it's not until 23rd July & I will be approx 3 days off of 23 wks!! It seems so far away!!

Huni I have been thinking about a private 4d scan but we dont want to find out the sex & Im scared that bubs will give us a flash & we may notice LOL!!

L&N you sound like you are very busy hun, I hope that you can find some time to rest before BB makes his appearance.

I am starting to have thoughts about labour as well more so after having a browse in a MC mag & seeing perineal gel & explaining to OH what it was for!!! Ehhh!!!

Forgot to mention am feeling more definate movements, I have been having the odd flutter every so often but I am noticing more of them now & the feelingis becoming stronger than a flutter I am sure I can feel baby turning, I can also def feel when baby is jumping on my bladder as I suddenly get this feeling as if I have been holding my pee for hours!! & I am getting stronger tapping feelings & im wondering if this is kicks that obviously arent as strong as bubs is still small.

Ohh it's so exciting, im so glad that everyone is getting along nicely xxx
24/06/2010 at 11:40
are most of you finding out the sex?? i think we are staying team yellow. glad to hear everyone is doing good
24/06/2010 at 15:27
Gussie i stayed on Team Yellow - I didn't want to know but DH fancied finding out the when we went for our scan baby was uncooperative, some say it must be a girl to be siding with mum already!

Laujai sounds like little kicks / punches how amazing are all the baby wriggles?! As much as i'm looking forward to fin ally holding mini DM I'm really going to miss baby wriggling in my belly.

I'm team yellow too! I love feeling the baby move, which is weird cos before I got broody the thought of having something living and moving inside me really freaked me out!

Good to hear from you Lottie - house moves suck don't you think? Still haven't forgiven hubby for accidentally packing the car keys into some random box the night before we moved - the next morning he couldn't find them then couldn't find the spare either, even though I knew exactly where it was. OMG the stress! Anyway eventually I found the spare key and we moved, but I didn't unearth the proper car keys for another two years (and one more house move later!).
24/06/2010 at 16:58
M&S thats so funny obviously not at the time LOL!!

We are firmly staying team yellow!! At first OH wanted to find out but I convinced him with reasons not too & he now agrees, also I think if we knew the sex I would probably go mad & spend all our money on pink or blue stuff LOL!!

Forgot to say earlier Gems hope you have a lovely mini break.

So I have been more organised with the little bits & bobs for baby as feel the time is going so quickly also my work contract ends at the end of July so thought it sensible to spread the cost.

Quite impressed already with the amount we have already & hav not noticed the cost at all!!
