Bad period pain while pregnant - Pregnancy after miscarriage/ectopic

Hi I just found out I am pregnant the digital test said two to three weeks but I am suffering with very bad period pains. I am a week late and did 3 tests to confirm pregnancy. I lost my first baby and am petrified it's happening again. I'm now 32 and lost my first a long time ago. My normal period pain is always bad .

Most women have period pain, especially in early pregnancy - it is merely your uterus stretching to accommodate baby

With my son I had it from 4-10weeks so I'd say it's nothing to worry about.

Is it just on one side or in the "usual" period pain area ? I'm 4 weeks and getting period pains too and of course another mc has crossed my mind but i'm trying to relax about it. After all at this stage there is nothing that can be done, even an ultrasound wont show anything definitive right now.

Hello, i got my bfp on 5th December and had really bad pain also. I was convinced I was going to start my period. Im 9 weeks now and the pains have eased off. It is your uterus stretching and growing. I had an early scan at 7 weeks and everything was fine. I had a mc 18 months ago and it does make you worry so I konw how you feel. try not to worry too much. You could go and see your doctor for reassurance x good luck x

i'm just 9 weeks pregnant and am having period pain like feelings. they are quite strong today. is this still normal?

hello im 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant u went and i went epu as for my period like pains and there all normal just take paracetamol and relax . Let nature do the rest xx

i know how u feel i got a positive test last week but i had a bad miscarriage at the beginning of last year so im petrified with these stomach pains they are coming and going at the moment have no clue how far along i am yet good luck xxx

I agree with everyone.. Im now 6wks 2days according to last period, and im petrified as well because my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage back in december., now pregnant again and having cramps. Doctor said is normal as long as no bleeding, the worse part is that i was having brown spotting good luck to u
