I've posted about this before but getting really frustrated about having to wait for af to come before we can start ttc. I was on the pill for 10 years, had a withdrawal bleed on 29 December and nothing since. It's been 56 days! Does anybody know of any vitamins or herbal remedies that would help to restart my cycle? I have tested and got a BFN.

I bet there aren't many on here wishing that af would come!

Argh 10 years is a long while to be on the pill so i think your body just needs time to settle back down. No help i know but i waited months for mine to come back. I know everyone is different but fingers crossed af will come back soon. x

Agnus castus, also known as vitex, kick starts the body to ovulate. I took it for 2 weeks and it shortened my cycle down to. 34 days from 60 and fell pregnant first month! Holland and Barrett do it xx

Thanks for posting this, im in a similar situation, stopped the patch in oct and nothing since, doc doesn't seem worried and said to go back next month if still nothing, am desperate to know if im ovulating or not (feels like I have?) So have just ordered some of these on amazon, fingers crossed it'll do something for me!

It's so frustrating isn't it?! I ordered some One Step Ovulation test strips from Amazon last week. I thought I would never bother using OPK but I thought I'd give it a go. Anyway the first day I tested it showed what I thought could be a positive for ov. The following 2 days it was definitely a positive so I think I must have randomly found when I was ovulating even though at that point my I was on day 58!

I then experienced pains which confirmed the ov and the tests show negative today.

I would say the opks are definitely worth a try if you dont see af soon.
