Hi Ladies

How often do you feed your LO's and how much ? I'm thinking that maybe Tyler should be on more, less often to cut down the need for him to feed at night.

Aptimil Comfort
6oz
Every 3 hours

Thanks

Sophie has anywhere between 6-8oz of Cow and Gate hungry baby every 3 1/2-4 hours between 5/6am and 8pm. She was 15 weeks yesterday.

We dont have a set routine of times as I stressed myself out too much trying to get into one and Sophie is much happier feeding pretty much on demand (tho she will get herself into a little routine for 2/3 days then change it!!).

I did dreamfeed up until last Wednesday but I was poorly last week and slept through getting up for the dreamfeed. Sophie still slept through til 6am so I used that as the trying point and did the same the rest of the week. A couple of mornings she has been awake at 5am but doesnt make a lot of difference.

Hi i was thinking the same;

Mason is nearly 13 weeks and is on
Aptimal Comfort
7oz bottles 6 times in 24 hours this includes a dream feed (sometimes works if doesnt then up twice in night) and once in night.

he was very poorly other week and wasnt feeding then started on small amounts but yesterday he seemed to be back on 7oz and drank all of it out of all his bottles even in the night was going to up to 8oz but thinking he wouldnt drink it or he would and be sick as he isnt massive and is only 12 and bit weeks..........

i dont get it he drinks 30 - 35oz from 8am to 10.30pm so why isnt he sleeping through...............!!!!!!

also lillykitt have you thought about changing milk to the hungry baby??? i dont think i dare as mason and wond etc been a nightmare but was thinking if the comfort if a lighter formula on there tummies perhaps its not filling them up??? do you know?!

Caitlin has between 4-5oz of C&G Comfort every 3 hours .... takes between 20-25oz of milk in the day ..... her last bottle is at 6pm and she sleeps through til 7am.
She is a very happy and content baby so im not worried too much .. she will only take what she wants and if i try to make her drink more she will end up being sick.
Caitlin will be 16 weeks on Friday.

Olivia drinks 4 7oz hungry baby a day. She also has lunch of porridge and bananas, and every other night a dinner of vegetables, she is 19 weeks tomorrow.

What we did was introduce the 7oz and then let her drink what she wanted from it and eventually she started taking the whole bottle.

Hiya, Eadie on Aptimil too.

I try to feed her at these times roughly....

7am 6oz
11am 6oz
3pm 6oz
7pm 7 oz
11pm 7oz

and usually wakes about 3am where I feed her 6oz

Am trying to loose the 3am feed as she is starting to not drink all her 7am feed but am struggling.

It says on the side of the container she should be on 5 feeds a day now???? She is still on 6. Am going to try her on some baby rice at the 11am feed in a few weeks as she struggles for a poo sometimes & I dont want the hungry baby formula to bind her up but I was thinking maybe the hungry baby formula just before bed.....is it advisable to mix them???!!!

Hi

Ols started after BF on Aptimil First, when his colic got so bad we put him on Aptimil Comfort (for a week he reallly didn't like it too thick and struggled to take half a bottle (4 oz), we then went back to Aptimil First until 4 weeks ago when I put him on Aptimil hungry, he will only take 5oz which is what he has taken from 6 weeks and has a feed at 7am and then every 4 hours, his last bottle is at 8pm until this week when he has started to sleep through til 4am. He is so much happier on Aptimil Hungry and now takes nearly the whole bottle in 25 mins max which on the others we had to fight over a 2/3 hour period.

Hi, Edward has 6oz 4 times a day. He drains each bottle, so we will up this to 7oz from tomorrow after I discussed it with the HV this morning. He is on SMA Stay Down and has Gaviscon with each feed to help with his reflux. He feeds at around 6:30am, 10:30, 2:30 and then 6:30pm.

He will be 12 weeks on Sunday,
