dd sleeps through from 8.30pm ish, sometimes earlier sometimes later, until 5-6am. then she has a quick feed, wind, play then back to sleep. she is 16 weeks.

when people ask if they are skeeping through yet look horrified and say no of course not! they couldnt possibly go all night without food and still grow well!!! if you are bfing, you could also add bf is so good for them they digest it with ease so get lots of nutrients and frequently.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

She slept for 8 hours!!!!!

Am sure it was a fluke but last night I had her off to sleep by 8pm and she slept till 4.15am, missing her 1am feed completely!

Just in case it wasn't a fluke and it works, this is what I did differently;

1) Blocked out light from the bedroom door completely (it's glass and we;re on a single level)
2) Gave her hungry baby formula for her last feed before bed

I think it was making the room darker that really helped -as she slept like this at my mum's and they have blackout blinds in their bedroom. Fingers crossed it works ongoing anyway! I might go to bed early tonight just in case and to make the best of it! lol

xx
