Anyone else?

Anyone else still struggling with baby-body?

I've been working so hard and managed to shift almost 4kgs so far but I'm stuck in a rut and haven't shifted anything for 2 weeks now. I was going to the gym 5 times a week but got a dodgy knee and had to have a whole week off which probably hasn't helped. I went shopping yesterday which was quite a depressing experience! I came away with yet ANOTHER pair of trackies, which is pointless as I went shopping to get clothes for work as I'm going back next week and have next to nothing to wear!! I'm just so tempted to throw out most of my wardrobe as I don't realistically think I'll get back in some things again. Does anyone else feel like they've got wider hips and they're never going to go back? I've hardly any fat on them now it seems but they are so much wider than before
I've also gone up a bloody shoe-size lol

It's quite disheartening to feel like I'm getting nowhere all of a sudden so thought some PMA might be in order! I'm also considering Weightwatchers.. has anyone been? Is it worth it?
PMA people! Or add your own moans

I'd liketo lose more, am only about 3pm heavier than pre Ava but I'd never really gotten back to me before Sara, I'd done ok but alway seem to hover around a size 14, idle to be a comfy 12 really. My Sil and I said that our hips do seem wider than pre pre sorry no help that is it! It takes about 7 years for your body to return to normal so I've been told! Darn!!!

My Sil has just started WW and loves it as you can eat a few treats etc, her and my mom had lost loads on SW and she's just maintaining now but had gotten bored of the plan! You can do it hun, hope your knee gets better soon!
I neeeed to stop eating crap!!!
Xx

Who invented the iron again? Yeah, thanks for that...

Oh yes..me! Although I haven't been anywhere near as good as gyming it! I've still got a good stone to go to get back to my pre-Ryan weight which I was so happy with. Probably more than a stone now as af and the chocolate fairy have been visiting this week oops! I seem to have lost the motivation...I'm still 2st lighter than I was jan2009 and I keep using that as an excuse. But it seems like I will be going back to my old job so hopefully can start ttc #2 sooner and I've said I've got to be back to my pre Ryan weight before then as don't want double to lose after- although I have no intention of letting myself gain as much again!
I've always had generous hips so thankfully don't think they've change much...all my fats still stuck to them too lol!

I'm with you ladies. My problem was that I gained a stone just before falling pregnant, we had 3 holidays in the space of 3 months and I must have eaten/drunk for England. I joined weight watchers 5 weeks ago and so far I have losted 8lbs which I'm pleased about but ideally I want to lose another 2 and a half stone so I have a long way to go. It also doesn't help that we have been out for 3 meal this weekend and because it getting colder my love for red wine has returned! Meant to be good for the heart though! I'm so pleased you said you feet had gotten bigger Mixti, mine have too, I was fine in flip flops but put some shoes on the other day and it was agony. I have always had big hips too kayssis so no change there xxx

I'm still struggling! I used to go to the gym at least 4 times a week pre-pregnancy - body combat, circuit training, spinning, swimming etc. Had to give most of that up during preg and now I don't have the time (or energy!) to go so much. I kept up spinning until I was 30 weeks (ish) and swimming pretty much right up Sophie's birth. I've been swimming and walking every where and that hasn't really done much to loose the weight. I started body combat again last week, so hopefully I'll start toning up, but not very quickly as I can only go once a week Coupled with not being able to diet because of breastfeeding (not that I've ever dieted before as I've always been really active instead, and I wouldn't know where to start!) and it's a very slow process!

My huge problems are the baby belly and the boobs! My bottoms all fit, but are a bit snug, but all my tops are now too short because of my boobs. And if I get anything in a bigger size they're baggy round my middle and I just end up looking fat. I'm hoping the boobs will go down a bit when I stop breastfeeding.

I'm struggling too. I just don't seem to have the time to exercise and I can't stop eating rubbish! I used to exercise loads and love it but by the time Megan is in bed I've got the house work to do and dinner to cook for me and hubby (he doesn't get home til 6.30) and after I've eaten that I'm too tired to do anything.

I had gesational diabetes while pregnant and couldn't eat anything sweet and unfortuntaely I have been making up for it since I got the all clear.

I did go to weight watchers for a couple of months and lost a stone but then money started to run out and I couldn't afford to go so have gained all of that again. It is good at WW but I do think you have to be in the right frame of mind or it is a waste of money.

I am only 4 pounds heavier than pre-preg but I am overweight so still have a few stone to lose. I wanted to go back to work in February slimmer and healthier so I need some motic=vation from somewhere.

How do you find time to go to the gym FIVE times a week???? I am in awe!! I am dancing once a week now and would love to do more exercise but its a problem with babysitters.

I still weight quite a lot more than my pre-preg weight but as I am still BFing at night, can't really go on a diet just yet or my milk dries right up.

But its blinking depressing. I have been back at work for 6 weeks and still struggle to find stuff to wear.

I've barely lost anything. I have been EBF though so kind of hoped it would all just drop off (whilst I ate takeaways and biscuits whenever I like!) I have just started to try and eat healthier and snack less. I've started swimming so hopefully should see some improvement soon. I've got at least 2 stone to lose. Well done all of you that have been trying, although maybe we shouldn't expect too much from ourselves, the babies are all still so little. I'll probably be saying that when they're 3, lol! X

At least I'm not the only one then! I proper sweated at first when no-one else owned up, thought I was alone! hehe
Foxinsocks, I'm lucky that I've got hubby at home too at the moment so we take it in turns to look after Corynn and have our "me" time too. I go to the gym and he plays tennis. We used to play tennis together but that's a bit harder now! When I go back to work next week I'm sure my gym time will reduce a bit...
My main problems are the typical ones - belly, thighs and hips. I feel massive around that area! I've opted for dresses and leggings for work now, I can't get any trousers to look decent as I'm between sizes too. At least leggings and dresses hide more sins too!
I've made an appointment with a personal trainer this afternoon so they can help me design a proper plan! And I'm still in two minds about weightwatchers...
If the personal trainer tells me anything useful I'll post it up here! Come on ladies, we can do it!
