well im back to work thursday :cry: not looking forward to it i work 12 hours a day doing 45 hours a week.Jacob is changing so much he is 3months and just gives me the biggist smilles iv ever seen but i now financaly i have to go back :cry:

Awh I'm sorry Jay - that will be terrible to leave your wee one for such a long time each day. We are struggling too as I was a high earner and to go to practically nothing is not easy to cope with. But when we looked at the cost for child care I refuse to pay that amount to someone else when I would rather be at home with Zea instead of paying a stranger. I hope you get on ok and it's not too heartbreaking.x

Aww bless you, that must be so difficult. I am dreading going back to work but fortunately not going back for a while. Hope it all goes ok for you.

Hi Hun, Hows it going? How was week one?

I'm back to work on 4th July Boooo! It's just for the last three days of term (so I get paid for summer) I'll be back properly by September (I work in a school). I don't really want to go back but I need the dosh. I want to be at home but it isn't possible so I'll just have to get on with it. At least I have one morning off each week to take Joab to -Baby & Toddler' group in the village and I get all the school holidays too, so I'm trying to be positive. I found a lovely childminder which also makes me feel a little better. How are you getting on?

Its hard going back to work. I took a year off after having James last time and went back 3 days a week. Childcare is scandalous but we needed me back at work to get a better mortgage etc....
With Andrew on the scene, I had intended on taking between 6 and 9 months, but I am now not going back to work as we are moving overseas.

When I was working I always felt guilty leaving James at nursery, but now I see the benefits and his development - good and bad! and with another one on the scene, its a godsend on the days when I am completely wiped out!!!

So, don't feel too bad about it. I know you are going back to work early but you will both be fine and keep a piccie of a smiling Jacob close by and you will be fine.
