I am SOOOOO angry and fed up with being lied to and fobbed off!!!

Hubby's precisious car was hit the other week but a stupid woman reverend about to go on holiday for a month to australia and her mind was clearly there already!!! :roll:

She initially wanted to do it between us for the repairs, which thankfully weren't actually that bad but as he has an expensive make of car the bill was ??????650 so she went through her insurance instead. this was all fine, hire car arranged - in fact a better one than ours has been provided - bonus hubs is well happy!!

When we booked the car in it was meant to take 2-3days to sort all in all. It's been a fortnight now and still not back!!! hubs is in a different part of the country and now the hire car want their car back!!

Spoke to garage on friday last week for an update and said car would be sorted by tuesday pm. hubby went away tues am and i explained last week that the car had to go with him so it would be next week before we could give the hire car back. Tuesday pm comes and no contact from the garage so i call only to be told the alloy wheel still hadn't been refurbished yet but was due back that day and car would then be taken to their other site to have some other issues looked at. i was promised it would be dropped off at other site first thing wed am as I explained i need the car back today as hire car has to go back monday and hubby needs to take his car with him monday morning and not the hire car!!

I explained on tuesday to both the garages if there were any probs with any of this to call me asap. No call so I have just called for an update to check all is ok to get the car back later today - car was not received at the other location until 4pm yesterday according to the second garage so not even looked at it yet, no idea what parts might be needed as got to diagnose faults!! so I rung the first garage to ask why the delay in getting the car over to the other site and they say they dropped it off yesterday morning!! even so it was not wednesday morning as agreed and now the first garage are saying they said the wheel would not be back til thursday so would not have ever been sent across on wednesday - I am soooooo mad!!!!

we need the car back today and i just know it isn't going to happen!!!

and breathe......trouble is cos hubby is away he can't deal with it and i just don't need the stress - i've got another therapy session in a while and I am wound up beyond belief!!!!!! :x :x

why is just nothing ever simple???!!! wouldn't mind but the damn thing isn't even our fault and even though nothing has been claimed on our insurance we will be forced to declare the incident next year and pay more insurance like we last year for the tractor driving into our other car :cry: :cry:

I think I need to use the bag to cheer myself up :lol: i really need to go to the gym and work out some of this stress!!

omg no wouder your stressed. if i was you i'd pour myself a nice glass of wine once chloe was in bed find somthing good to watch on telly and have a relaxing night

I replied in toddler but Lara what a mess! It makes me so mad when someone hits you and you have to mop up the mess.

I too hate been lied to and wish they would be honest and just say it will be ready.... (insert day) at least that way you can plan around it.

You should be able to keep the hire car (paid for by her insurance) until your car is ready. My sis works for churchills and I am sure that is normal proceedure.

How long is OH away for? Is he away all week and back weekends only? Mare!!!!

Get to the gym and work off some stress. I know since you wrote this you have had your session of therapy. I hope in time this helps and puts life into perspective for you so you can move on to better times.

The issue with the hire car was cos the car was due to go into the same garage for some things to be fixed so they decided to do it all whilst it was away from us. So strictly speaking it was not part of the repair from the accident which is fair enought but at the end of the day hubby is away with the hire car and can't get back without it!!!

Hubs is away until tomorrow morning hopefully (sunday) he went on tuesday first thing and stayed since. he has to go back mon and tues for appointments but not stay there. It is a classic sods law situation that it would all happen now!!

I can't get to the gym til next week due to hubby being away and no childcare but hey!
