hair loss!!

The last few days my hair has started falling out when I wash and brush it. I have quite thick hair so cannot notice it. I just wandered if anyone else has experienced this and how long does it last for?

Hi Mary,

Mine has too, for a few weeks now. It's all the time though. It's so embarressing. I asked on the baby forum and its really normal apparently and the lady on there said it was happening for years after the birth! Nooooooooooooooo!!!
I have very fine hair so i'll have none left at this rate! xx

mine coming out at alarming rate. it is normal though and usually it goes within 6 months. Vit B12 helps.

Lots of mine coming out too but it's so thick and curly that I'm not going to miss it!!

I think I read that your hair gets thicker when pregnant so afterwards it seems like you're losing lots of hair but really it's just returning to how it was before.
