LO's sleep in the daytime

How much sleep does ur little one have in the daytime??

George only wants to sleep on me or hubby... if hes on us, hes sparko, if I put him down... wide awake!!! I cant sit with him asleep on me i have DD to consider and jobs to get done.. but if I put him down hes wide awake and cranky cos hes tired... so I cant get anything done and DD is being pushed out....

He sleeps in 10 min cat naps... and if Im extra lucky.. 2 min naps...

He sleeps all night though (so did DD from 2 weeks old but she still used to have 2 naps in the daytime about 1.5hrs each)

Anyone elses lo not sleep much in the day?

Mine!!! Leo wants to sleep on me all the time and can go for hours if I would let him. If I put him down he is awake within 10/15 mins. If I try to put him in his pram/cot/basket awake then he just starts screaming and I can't leave him like that either.He is obviously tired but never seems to want to elt go unless he is being held!

Tee hee hee just had this talk on FB! Yes Harry is exactly like George and Leo!!And like you Mand i've the girls to think about!! A|lthough today he slept in his cot ... twice!!! Not for long but hoping it's a breakthrough!!!!x Sorry i should know this but do u both breast feed - i think you do don't u babygaffer?x

Not sure I can offer advise just say you're not on your own!!!!x

Yes I do! They do say that it makes a difference don't they? Particularly at night?

My harry is FF and he does this lol! Its so lovely to have a cuddle but my house is a tip lol!

Alex does this too, but we're not sure how much of it is colic or how much is him not wanting to sleep. We've now moved him up to the bedroom for naps in the house so starting to get a bit longer and starting the whole trying to get him to self settle... start off cuddling him and put him down almost asleep, I keep my hand on him until hes completly sparko

Hmmmmm I've noticed something... ... so far all BOYS!!!! x x x x Tee hee hee!!!! I do the "hand" thing too Nessie! I do find it calms him if i'm quite firm with it over his tummy whilst he's in the cot.x

Yup its the boys... my dd is having a nap now, she will have about 1.5 hrs, she was has done!!! But no not Georgie... hes awake now, lay in his pram shouting at me... im sat here trying to ignore him and hoping he will go to sleep but nope... he is tired though mr grumpy knickers!!!!

Im lucky today though hes had 20 mins (woooo lol) in his cot and about 30 mins on my mum!! I refuse to hold him to sleep... argh!! Monster boy!

Mummy is craving a cup of coffee though so he will have to wriggle in his pram till Ive finished it
