I know it's still just over 2 months away but was wondering if/ how Christmas will be different in your house this year? and what are you looking forward to?

It will be different for us this year as will be just the 3 of us on Christmas day, I'm not hosting family for a change. This will be strange as i love doing this. We normally visit my dad in December stay over and both my sisters are there but we won't be going this year as not enough room to stay so thought i'd invite everyone up to us for a afternoon and do a buffet.
I'm looking forward to starting our own family traditions, and seeing Bella's face when she sees the Christmas lights and the tree, i'm sure she'll try to pull stuff off! Hubby will be home on Christmas eve/ day and boxing day which will be a first so looking forward to that too.
Also hubby's got a Christmas event to cook for at work first week of December so love the treats he brings home and helping him plan the Christmas menus that start 1st December.

This is the first year that h2b and I will be living together at Xmas. We're planning to spend Xmas Day just the 3 of us, then having family round on Boxing Day - think we'll just do a buffet. Can't wait to go and buy some lovely decorations. xxx

im looking forward to this christmas for the first time in past few years....it was always a big family time for us so this year having Megan makes it exciting again and less hard but my mum left so many traditions for us growing up i cant wait to carry them on and start a few of my own.

I cant wait for christmas morning and seeing her wee face (she got quite excited a few weeks back watching me open my birthday presents and seeing the sparkly paper) i cant wait to see her face with the tree lights as well. I know she wont remember or know whats going on but 6months isnt that young (will have started weaning to some extent by then so she can have some sort of xmas dinner with us) and im going to get her a wee christmas dress as well....it will just be us 3 in the morning and my dad and sis will come out in afternoon for dinner (we will go to my aunts/cousin for boxing day and thats all the family we have!)

As for shopping looneykittey im more or less finished for Megan (although i know i will keep buying 'little extras' lol)

Anyway i know she wont remember but its still exciting - she is my first baby so its my 1st 1st christmas lol and for all i know might be my only one so want memories for me and pics to look back on in years to come.

Aw Im really looking forward to xmas too but im not expecting too much from Alana. I can remember being so excited when we had Tylers first xmas, he was 9 months old but he just wasnt interested at all and was just a normal day to him, I tried so hard to make it special for him and he had no idea what was going on LOL
Im not sure what we are doing this year yet, we usually get together with family but I know dk would prefer to just be the 4 of us, he has always wanted to have a nice quiet day at home but I always insist on seeing all our family hehe

EXCITING!!! Well the only difference will be there's a very special extra person! I always stay at my mums for christmas we go for tea on christmas eve and stay till the day after boxing day on christmas morning it me, my mum her fiance my brother and the kids we"ll get up try and get leighton to eat some breakfast lol and then open prezzie's and then lounge around watching crimbo tele (my fave thing) and then we go to my auntys for a buffet tea. Boxing day we have to family over to my mums when the kids are in bed to play pictionary and poker have a few drinks and a general laugh its the only time that we are all together in the same room so its lots of fun. I'm starting a tradition of my own this year. I have bought the book "the night before Christmas and I'm going to read this to the kids before bed on christmas eve! I can't wait

It just gets more exciting every year! My dd didnt have a clue for her 1st xmas at 12 weeks old but last year at 15 months she could open presents and got excited about the tree ect. This year she is going to be SO excited i just cant wait!!!! She still wont understand the basics (shes just turned 2) but she is going to love decorating the tree and will love opening the presents.

DS wont have a clue but im sure he will like the lights on the tree  xx

I can't wait for Xmas this year Eeeek soooo excited!!!!

This year will be different for us too, as we are not putting up our big tree on December 1st, as dd will no doubt pull it down so we have bought an Advent Calendar House and a tree to put in our bay window, with some fairy lights so it will be out of reach but still christmassy- bet her face will be a picture as she loves loves loves lights and sparkly things!! We will be going to Devon before Xmas Eve so we beat the get away traffic, and for the first time i will not be at my mum's house as we will be staying with A's parents and it will be the first Xmas Day A and i have woken up together as every year before we have stayed at our parents. So will have our first Xmas dinner with them, i know its going to feel strange for me as i wont see my family till the evening but am sure dd will love it. Have already bought her loads of presents and a red dress to wear and some Xmas jammies, socks and bib. We will be going over to my mum's who's hosting our family this year for a buffet dinner and yet more spoiling of dd. Cannot wait to enjoy the holiday with my little family
