hi all

ok im not sure what to do!! summer had the worst nite ever last night she finally we nt to sleep at 8pm then was up at 12.30am then at 4am and by 6.30am i gave in and gave her her 1st bottle which she wouldnt normally have until 8am, she has only had 1hrs sleep today she has also had her last lot of jabs anyway at 5.30 she started screaming hystericly so i rocked her to sleep she is asleep now but she hasnt had her last bottle yet??? do i wake her?? also she has just had a banana b4 she went to sleep should i let her sleep with a full tummy??
i dont normally give her solids so late but i have had a nightmare day all my electric went off at 1pm while i was in the shower!! so had an electrican here etc and i couldnt feed her luckly i had just made her a bottle b4 it went off so she had a bottle at 1ish then again at about 4pmish?
i really dont know if she has had enough milk to day as she has not taken all of it at once she probably has had 2 full bottles and the rest in bits n pieces as she has kept falling asleep on her bottle coz shes shattered coz of last nite!!

what do i do???/

Does she normally have a dream feed? If I were you I would let her sleep and either at the time she normally has it, or a bit later, try giving her a feed without waking her up. You shouldn't have any problem getting her to take it, they are pretty good at feeding in their sleep, and you won't need to wind her as she will be so relaxed while she is drinking it. i have had the shittist day ever!!
she just woke up screaming again tried to give her a bottle but she only had 1oz tops just got her to sleep again this time in her sleeping bag so hopefully she stays asleep she keeps crying out in her sleep its so upsetting, ive never done the dream feed thing i will see how she goes

Luca's been through phases like this before and its so hard, i tried not to feed him until he was due and he usually went back to sleep (after a good half hour but he does feed twice a night still.

How are things today hon? If it's any consollation, I'm going through the same sort of thing with Reiss. He doesn't sleep much during the day - 20 minutes at a time sort of thing and he has started to wake up overnight again really frequently.

I thought maybe he wasn't getting enough milk as he is bf and my supply is really low, but he is on 3 good meals a day now. He's been waking up at around 11pm which he hasn't done for ages, crying and I've only managed to get him back off by sticking him on the boob. I've noticed he's really thrashing around during the day aswell and I'm wondering whether he's teething as he seems to be in pain.

I'm going to dose him up with Calpol (Oh terrible mother - don't tell anyone over on Baby for goodness sake!) tonight to see if that settles him. Do you think Summer could be teething as well?xx

hi girls thanks for ur replys well she eventually slept through the nite but was crying in her sleep all nite when she woke in the morning she had a temp so guess what i gave her calpol (shock horror!!) she was very quite in the morning not her usually self but she took her bottle had the calpol and then went back to sleep for 2hrs then woke up much better temp had gone down and she was chatting away and more her self rolling all over the front room etc so i think it was a combination of over tired and the jabs but she has been fine since
