Vicky, I'm sure your mil will understand, especially as your gift may not cost much but is clearly thoughtful and something she will want to keep forever. If she has decided that that is what she wants to get you guys and has gone ahead and ordered, then don't feel guilty. My family often do this, my mum bought loads for Braedon just bfore he was born cos we were skint (i was made redundant when pg) and i felt terrible but she knows i really appreciate it and would never expect it from her. If my family are sure they are happy to spend and the money spent on something we really need, then i just count myself lucky for having people who care enough and cn afford to help out. Why not invite her round for dinner or do something else that doesn't cost much but maybe shows how much you appreciate her help? Thats what I do, cook for my dad so my mum doesn't have to!

Don't feel rotten hon, Im sure as soon as things improve you will treat your mil if you're in a position to and I'm sure she knows that too. You could always mention it to her so she knows the score if it helps you to feel better about the situation - sort of 'thank you so much, I feel bad that we're having to do such token gifts this year when you're spending so much on us' sort of thing.

Wish I had a chest freezer sometimes but can't bear the thought of having one at the bottom of the garden which is where the shed is!xx

you know what Vicky - I can understand how you feel. We've got next to no money for Xmas and my mum has just ordered me a tumble dryer coz getting 2 adults and 3 babies washing dry at this time of year is next to impossible. I cant afford to pay her back and shes saying its for Xmas but all Ive got her is a photocalender of the boys from bonusprint. I feel sooo guilty as she dosnt have much money herself. xx xx

Hi girls,
Just a quick message to say thanks for all the support you gave me at the start of the week when I was feeling down. I am feeling much better now, it was because of af. However I am still shattered as Olly has had me up twice every night this week! He is now better too and is not screaming all day! Think it must have been teeth?

Seems like i've missed a lot on the one day that I haven't been on BE!

Vicky - my house is a permanent mess, I just can't be bothered when I get home from work!
Tammi - well done to ashton for rolling, Olly can only go from front to back!
Tracey and Kerry - hope you are both 100% now, its really hard looking after Lo's when you're feeling ill.
Elaine - sounds like Tyler is well ahead of the other June babies, although i'm sure Olly has said Hello a few times!

To everyone else I've forgotten, Have a great weekend, got to go and teach a lesson! Have a day off on Monday, so can;t wait to get through tomorrow!
Jules and Olly

Ouch Elaine - 5.20am?! I'm hoping you're tucked back up in bed now catching up with some zzzz.

Reiss was a bit of a nightmare again last night - up ever half hour from around 3ish. He stays up chatting and moaning in turn until around 6ish when he goes back to sleep - grrrrr.....xx

I've got a free day today as someone was supposed to be coming over this av but cancelled so I'm really pleased cos I don't have to make an effort and cook!

Might go into Watford to do a bit of shopping - herrmmmmm (thinks). I've had some very good advice on WIIs so might go check em out. (ta ladies!)xx

elaine it took me a while to relise too!!!! Had to check out her other posts!!!! My first thought was ohhhh no who found us here, lol. I see Palmtree managed to wrk out where we were all hiding, lol.
Well we are going out for lunch today, just to my mates and thats it no other plans!!!!
Must spend tomorrow doing some batch cooking as fast running out of food for Ashton and also need to put through my orders from my book party yesterday!!!!!

Karen enjoy your freedom this morning, buy yourself something nice when you are out!!!!

Jules is Olly sleeping any better yet? Ashton has started to sleep through again after almost 4 weeks of waking every hour!!!! Don't know how you manage to work aswell, your a star!!!!

Tracey & Kerry are all those nasty germs away yet??? Hope you are both over the worst!!!!

Vicky know what you mean about people giving more than you can afford to return! My mum has given us ??250 to kit out Ashtons room when we hopefully get a new house and Petes mum has given us ??100 to buy his next car seat, its fab that they can help us as we are skint but we can't afford to return the gesture!!!!!

By the way girls thanks for all the support you gave me in that arguement on baby - can't believe my name kept getting dragged back into it!!!!! Childish people on there!!!!!

Hope all you yummy mummies and fab babies have a good day!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning ladies..

Well Lucy has been a nightmare past couple of nights - up loads & loads. Im positive shes teething!
I did start her on goodnight milk at bedtime to see if it helped her sleep through (only slept through once in nearly 5 months!) But OH reckons shes gone worse with that - so think I will put her back on her normal milk.
Did nothing yesterday until I had to pick Cam up from school & we went to the shops for a few bits. Really need to get motivated today or we will end up in all day again!!
So flaming tired though

Hope you enjoy your lunch out Tammi & You enjoy your mooch to the shops Karen.
& Elaine hope you get a snooze later on today!
& hope you are feeling better today Kerry & everyone else is good too :\) xx

Edited to put it in colour!!

Hey can i start to chat on this one, not posted on it before as everyone seemed to be chatting away, but with the drama in baby would like to speak to some sane poeple lol.

Evan did his night of every hour waking grrrr i never know whats wrong with him when he does this!! little monkey.

Im bit worried about the cold weather coming in as our heating is working properly and the army helpline have said they will try and get someone out but there are loads of people with the same prob - if it gets cold what should i put him in for bed?? he has a vest and babygro in his 2.5 sleeping bag but still gets cold, ive got a fleecy type one he could wear but then i worry bout him getting to hot but i suppose if its freezing he will be alright, i still fret and will till over 6 months!!!

any suggestions?
21/11/2008 at 08:45
Hey Louise.

i didn't have any heating for a few days a little while ago a it was v cold, like you i just used avest babygrow and 2.5 tog sleeping bag for luca. I also put some socks onto his hands as they seemed quite cold, i used the back of my hand on his chest at first to make sure he wasn't overheating or to cold but it all seemed to keep him him nice and snug

haha goo idea to start a new thread it was getting hard to keep up with all the pages

Hi girls, was wondering it you would start a new thread Elaine - I also hate it when it goes past 10 pages hence why I started the last one!!!!

Lunch was really nice, just me and two mates and three babies! Well Ashton didn't roll at all yesterday but today everytime I put him on the floor on his back he went onto his tummy!!!!! Cried a little so put him back on his back and he just kept repeating this over & over!!!!!!

Girls it must be hossible with no heating! I am always cold!!!! At the mintue Ashton is just in a vest, sleepsuit and 2.5 tog sleeping bag. But I have got him some lond sleeved vests and a fleece blanket for when it gets really cold.

Well I never got a chance to check on here this mornind and it seems it has been a very busy place, lol expecially in baby, lol. Well done Zoey for naming Becci - I had a feeling it was her!!!!!! To me she seems to be an attention seeker, have noticed she has started a couple of fights latly then says sorry and watches everyone else fight!!! If she has that mush going on in her life at the moment why bother making more trouble???? Bet she won't be back on here for a long time!!!!

Elaine what you up to with your fab boys today???? Not long ago it was just you and me on here and now look, lol.

Karen how was you shopping?

Tracey, hello just gonna read your other post! Hope you are all ok???

Hi Junies!
Haven't been on here for ages & am a bit lost!!! What on earth has happened in the baby forum....just too many threads to go through all of them?!?!

Well, Dylan has been a good boy as usual (although still won't sleep through)! He's soooo active - God help me when he can crawl/walk/run!!

Whats everyones plans for the weekend? We have none, so will just make it up as we go along as usual!

We've got most of Dylan's Xmas pressies. I've just got to get everyone elses, but have decided to do all that online this year - can't face the busy shops with a baby in a pushchair!

Louise - i've used fleecy babygrow on my LO when temp has dropped. I've read somewhere that fleece material does keep the heat in though (i kept checking the back of his neck to make sure he wasn't overheating).

Have a good evening all!!
Sarah xx
21/11/2008 at 14:01
LOL I know the first 1 was FAO Tammi and Ashton - i started it when Ashton was in hospital! Its great that we all have somewhere to post to eachother without all the biatches!! xx xx
21/11/2008 at 14:03
Thats what I like on here, dosn't matter if we all agree on something or not we dont get bitchy just offer support & advice! That first post was start 13 weeks ago!!!!! How time flys! xxxxx
21/11/2008 at 14:35
Hey girls

Well, didn't make it to shopping in the end, my friend is setting up a new business and begged me to go help her with the system set up etc and bribed me with a lovely brekkie, so greed got the better of me!

Reiss is also doing his waking up every half hour trick overnight - he's doing my head in!

So nice that we have our lovely little hide out. Don't ever feel intimidated by us Louise - even if we are yakking like a load of old women over the garden fence! That goes for any other Junies too scared just to join in - just jump in with a post - we won't bite! (unlike the B for Bitch Forum!)

I've sent dh upstairs with Reiss to go bath him as he's been a little misog all day yet again (Reiss not dh!) and I've banished Jules to his bedroom to play cos he's getting on my nerves doing all manner of stupidness diving all over the place - too much damn energy for a Friday night!

Going to have a lovely chilled out evening with my dh tonight - might even have a bath together - ooooerrrrr!xx

PS that was the post that started all the rumours about Elaine and Tammi having an affair - all true as it turns out!xx
21/11/2008 at 14:40
lol - Damn it Tammi, shes not only a bouncer, shes a bloody detective too!!
21/11/2008 at 15:39
hahaha - my ss will know who sent them their pressie when they open their pressie and see it's a deerstalker lol! (or a list of pureed food!!!)xx
21/11/2008 at 16:08
cheers ladies, he is in a fleecy babygro with a long sleeved vest, its bloody freezing already! but he feels warm enough.

He has learnt a new high pitched scream - quite embarresing when we were swimming and he was screaming then laughing lol

How much is everyone spending on lo's for xmas? we spent about ??100 oh wants to spend more but I think this is plenty.
21/11/2008 at 16:22
I've put a couple of blankets on Reiss tonight as well as his vest and babygro and fleecy sleepsuit - it gets quite cold in our room so I want to know he's all warm and cosy.

I've spent about ??10 on Reiss! As we've got older kids they obviously get more than this (probably buying a WII for the family and then little stocking fillers) but as Reiss is only a baby and my 4th child he'll be getting a token gesture until next year when he'll know more of what's going on. Spent enough money on him during the year buying stuff he doesn't play with lol!xx
21/11/2008 at 16:23
lol karen omg ur funny x

oh yeah karen i know about nutty 5 year olds, robbie is on overdrive as soon as he finishes school which is at 1.50 on a friday, bloody school, and its mummy this and oh how does that work, mm mummy i wonder if i can arghh shut up robbie, my god the only time he was quiet tonight was when he fell downstairs and was a bit shocked, thank god quiet i thought, ok bad mummy. but the kid could test the patience of a saint honestly x

well girls its been a day of it, to top it off robbie fell downstairs, he's ok lol, and then needed to get nappies and ray asked me to get him some beers, oh yes you guessed it i got asked for id, me with 2 kids and my mum i got asked for id, bloody typical lol.

21/11/2008 at 16:40
oooooh Tracey - I thought that about that eejit on Bitch forum. I thought it sounded like a bloke as well but didn't want to say in case I sounded stooopid! So thanks Ray for doing it for me!!!!!

PMSL at you describing Robbie falling down the stairs and it being the only time he shut up! That made me laugh! Sorry Robbie - it's only cos I know you're ok!

Well, as you've noticed, I'm still on here and not in my bath with my dh as he has disappeared out! He went to buy some takeaway chicken an hour ago - only my dh!

You got asked for ID? I'd kiss whoever asked me that, although very unlikely to ask me, in fact I'd be lucky if I got asked showing a buss pass these days!

Yeah, I agree Tammi is just showing off now! Ashton - stop rolling around and making a show of these lazy Junies!

Right, sod it I'm off to go get in the bath with a mag instead. Probably more interesting than my dh anyway! And won't stink of fried chicken to boot!xx
21/11/2008 at 16:57
lol Tracey that was so funny about Robbie, bless him glad he is ok now though!!!!!!

Karen, I am just so proud that he can do something now other then lay on his back!!!! And anyway I think I am allowed this moment as I still haven't forgiven you for having Reiss first!!!! Me thinks when you were doing rekki on me you were secretly putting a spell on Ashton to make him lazy, lol.

Louise Ashton has been doing this too!!! My mum phoned the other day when he was doing it and asked what on earth are you doing to my grandson? Think she was shocked when I said that was his new trick!

Ahh Elaine Karen has told everyone about us now!!!! She is no good at keeping secrets is she? Will have to make sure she isn't in charge of secret santa next year!

Speaking of secret santa has everyone bought theirs yet? I am still struggling to get mine!!!! Any ideas or suggestion from you lovely ladies???

Woo hoo, got some xmas shopping started today and got everything we are gonna get for Madi...spent about ??60 on main pressies and then about ??20 on stocking fillers. Have to admit we are only spending a little bit on Braedon as I know he will get loads of toys and clothes from evryone else.

Good idea, starting new thread Elaine, get really annoyed having to go into it then select next page blah blah blah...much better this way! Hope the boys are ok x

Tracey and Karen -- I have also had my daily dose of mad 5 yr old this afternoon it took her 2 hrs to do homework cos she kept getting up and dancing around Braedon! And she burst into tears on the way home because her teacher spent too long tidying up or something, didnt get it but there is nothing I can do about it!!! Grrr. Anyway both kiddies tucked up in bed now which is good, cn chill now.

Hope evryone else is ok xxxx
