Vicky, I'm sure your mil will understand, especially as your gift may not cost much but is clearly thoughtful and something she will want to keep forever. If she has decided that that is what she wants to get you guys and has gone ahead and ordered, then don't feel guilty. My family often do this, my mum bought loads for Braedon just bfore he was born cos we were skint (i was made redundant when pg) and i felt terrible but she knows i really appreciate it and would never expect it from her. If my family are sure they are happy to spend and the money spent on something we really need, then i just count myself lucky for having people who care enough and cn afford to help out. Why not invite her round for dinner or do something else that doesn't cost much but maybe shows how much you appreciate her help? Thats what I do, cook for my dad so my mum doesn't have to!

Don't feel rotten hon, Im sure as soon as things improve you will treat your mil if you're in a position to and I'm sure she knows that too. You could always mention it to her so she knows the score if it helps you to feel better about the situation - sort of 'thank you so much, I feel bad that we're having to do such token gifts this year when you're spending so much on us' sort of thing.
Wish I had a chest freezer sometimes but can't bear the thought of having one at the bottom of the garden which is where the shed is!xx

you know what Vicky - I can understand how you feel. We've got next to no money for Xmas and my mum has just ordered me a tumble dryer coz getting 2 adults and 3 babies washing dry at this time of year is next to impossible. I cant afford to pay her back and shes saying its for Xmas but all Ive got her is a photocalender of the boys from bonusprint. I feel sooo guilty as she dosnt have much money herself. xx xx

Hi girls,
Just a quick message to say thanks for all the support you gave me at the start of the week when I was feeling down. I am feeling much better now, it was because of af. However I am still shattered as Olly has had me up twice every night this week! He is now better too and is not screaming all day! Think it must have been teeth?
Seems like i've missed a lot on the one day that I haven't been on BE!
Vicky - my house is a permanent mess, I just can't be bothered when I get home from work!
Tammi - well done to ashton for rolling, Olly can only go from front to back!
Tracey and Kerry - hope you are both 100% now, its really hard looking after Lo's when you're feeling ill.
Elaine - sounds like Tyler is well ahead of the other June babies, although i'm sure Olly has said Hello a few times!
To everyone else I've forgotten, Have a great weekend, got to go and teach a lesson! Have a day off on Monday, so can;t wait to get through tomorrow!
Jules and Olly

Ouch Elaine - 5.20am?! I'm hoping you're tucked back up in bed now catching up with some zzzz.
Reiss was a bit of a nightmare again last night - up ever half hour from around 3ish. He stays up chatting and moaning in turn until around 6ish when he goes back to sleep - grrrrr.....xx
I've got a free day today as someone was supposed to be coming over this av but cancelled so I'm really pleased cos I don't have to make an effort and cook!
Might go into Watford to do a bit of shopping - herrmmmmm (thinks). I've had some very good advice on WIIs so might go check em out. (ta ladies!)xx
