My DS is being Christened on Sunday and it has just dawned on me how much I've got to do!! By nature we always leave things to the last min but this is ridiculous! When my DD was christened we used the top tier of our wedding cake for her cake- obviously not an option again- so just been to M&S and bought their luxury iced cake which I'll decorate and it was ??56
I thought that was the cheaper option!! We have 40 guests so my Saturdays def going to be spent making alot of buffet food!! I am blessed that one of his god mothers has a huge house and as her pressie to him is hosting the party... thank goodness! He's wearing the gown his Daddy wore which is rather lovely, got to get the booze and my DDs outfit sorted now. See now I've written it down it doesn't look so scary!! Bet all you girls are super organised with your Christenings, come to me on how not to do it! :lol:
