I am now onto my 3rd month of trying for baby number 2, but am a bit unsure about trying too hard this month as I always feel a bit sorry for people with a december birthday (particulary as I would be due about 3 days after christmas).

What does everyone else thing about this?
Does it not really make a difference?

My friend's little girl was born on 24th December. They just have 2 days of presents. It's not until they are older that they will realise. I don't feel they miss out, as they still celebrate, and other things happen throughout the year. x

My little boys is the beginning of December but he was due end of November! It doesn't make any difference to us apart from we feel we have to buy out door type toys at Easter as there is no point in the winter. The only thing I would ne cautious of with a second baby is being in hospital at Christmas time - I would have hated not to be with my first child at that time x

my sons birthday is beginning of january and everyone is broke esp me after xmas, so i av always felt he misses out n i always try saving and putiing some aside but wi xmas getting more expensive every year it jus becomes impossible, e is 9 now and starting to notice so preparing early this year and buying his birthday presents now to put away. so i think preparation is the key to a child born in those months.

My daughter was born 29th jan. we have the best week ever. Very busy but so very exciting. I wouldn't change her date of birth for anything. Although being so close to Christmas does make it a very expensive time lol

We make sure we have lots of special days out in the summer. My birthday is nov and I don't mind that it's close to Christmas. Hopefully my daughter won't either. At least when she is older and gets money for birthdays she will be able to have a great spend up in the sales lol
