has anyone moved baby into their own room yet?

i was going to keep Evie with us until she was 6 months but as she has started waking loads in the night now i was thinking maybe we are disturbing her and she might be better off on her own.

we have a TT sensor pad and that reassures me incase anything did happen.

dont know what to do for the best really! she's 20 weeks now

I moved Freya into a bigger cot last nite, and put her at the other side of our room.
No way would I be brave enough to move her out yet.
When I moved first DD out at about 7mths I didn't sleep a wink for about a week I was so worried.

If you're confident with the sensor pad give it a go or you'll never know - she can always come back

Cameron (18wks) moved into his own room a few hours ago! It's now 4.30 am and I'm awake, which says a lot! He's fast asleep, but I can't settle, I miss him
Bloody ridiculous as he's only next door ..

Anyway, he'd been waking really early and we weren't sure if it's a sign he can no longer sleep through the night because he's hungry, or if it's because the sunrise coming through our rubbish curtains wakes him up.

I also wanted to get him into his own room while he still fits into his crib, rather than dumping him in a strange room in a strange bed. Thought a familiar bed would help him settle.

So yesterday we finally got around to sorting out his room so that the crib would fit in it, and away we went. As it happened, his routine was a bit upset, so bedtime was later than usual, which I think has helped as he was really tired.

He has stirred a couple of times, but that's nothing unusual. I've been in to give a bit of reassurance and he's gone off again.

So far, so good .....

Hi
Bethany went into her own room at 9 weeks! I never thought id do it so early but she was such a noisy baby - never crying in the night just making loads of noise in her sleep. We just put her moses basket in her cot so she still sleeps in that and she starting sleeping through the night and has done ever since! Shes almost 20wks old now and is still in moses basket as shes only small but does take her naps in the cot and gets on fine - she just wriggles loads and is very distracted by her toys!!

Rachel Waggy the dreamfeed is the best thing every invented!! I started this wks ago and bethany sleeps 12hrs - 8.30pm tol 8.30am (i give her DF of 3oz about 10.30pm).
