Sleeping through the night?

Even as I write this, I know I shouldn't be complaining (not that I am!), but would like some more experienced opinons.

For the last few nights E has had a bottle (ff) at about 6-6.30pm and been asleep by 8-8.30pm, she has then slept through to 1/2am, last night she took another ff and slept through to 6am (friday night, she was up for 2 hrs before she'd go back to sleep!).

Is it ok for her to sleep for 7-8hrs without a feed? My mum keeps telling me she would wake if she was hungry and never wake a sleeping baby. She's having 3 4-5oz bottles and 3-4 breast feeds a day, if she sleep through it's a breast feed she misses (which also worries me a bit).

Is this ok? It's a routine (in the looses sense of the word) that she's got into herself, so should I just get the sleep while I can, as I'm sure it won't be too long before she's waking in the night again?

Thanks, Elf x

I think aslong as your DD is well fed during the day and drinking pleanty no dehydration I wouldnt worry too much about her sleeping through for 7hours. Also so long as she is feeding as soon as she wakes I'd be greatful for the nice sleep.

My DS slept from 12am - 6 am last week and I got excited thinkin it could be the start of something cos DS feeds really well. However unfortunately it didnt last lol.

My Mum knows women who have had there babies in a routine and sleeping through the night by 3weeks old so I wouldnt worry overly aslong as she is well fed

its not just fine its great, she is obviously feeding enough in the day to sleep that long, Lilia is bottle fed but sometimes feeds every 2 hours in the day and she goes to bed at 6pm at the mo and sometimes does not wake til 2.30am, I'm clapping my hands, you have a good girl xx
