Old Wives Tales - My baby was born in Dec 2010

My LO has loads of hair and I had awful heartburn during my pregnancy.
Has any other old wives tales come true with you and your LOs?

only the heartburn, i had minimal heartburn with ds, and he was a baldy, he's only just started sprouting hair lol, but phoebe had quite a bit if hair and i had consib-derably more heartburn this time, but that could also be down to the fact she was 1.5lb bigger than austin so took up a fair bit more room in their than he did... xx

i go against the trend - had horrible heartburn and DS is a baldy! its really funny he just has a little tuft at the back! i carried like i was having a boy though and everyone kept telling me so!

I also had terrible heartburn with both sons and ds1 was a baldy til he was about 2 (in fact my sisters mil even asked if I shaved his head!!) and still doesn't have a lot of hair, and ds2 was born with slightly more than ds1 but doesn't really have much either. I carried very neat and all up front with both and everyone assumed I was having a girl both times.

I had really bad heartburn & my DD was born with lots of hair i also had bad morning sickness & more or less all the way through which i didn't have with DS & everyone thought i was having a girl cause of sickness

I went against every single Old Wife Tale in the book. I didn't suffer at all with morning sickness, which I believe they say means you're having a boy. I suffered terribly with heartburn yet DD is not hairy at all. I also carried very neatly and even strangers said I was carrying like a boy. My midwife even said her heatbeat sounded like a boy's heartbeat and apparently she's very rarely wrong!!! In actual fact as I recall the consultant who did my c-section even predicted boy!!!! I really was 110% sure I was having a boy.... :lol:

I suffered with heartburn and DS has some hair, but not loads. I carried like a boy and craved crisps during my pregnancy too.

I didn't suffer with heartburn either and my DS is very hairy too and I was also carrying very neat, hardly had any bump at all.
