Morning

Eddison has never slept through. I've tried CC (it worked wonders with ds1) but Eddison will scream for up to 3hrs until he finally makes himself sick!

I decided to just go along with him in the hope that he'd sleep through when he was ready. Well, last night was the best so far! He went to bed at 7pm as usual and stirred at 10pm, he took 4oz milk (yes, I'm still giving bottle at night too!) and then re-settled with no fuss until 6:15am. This is such an improvement, I can't tell you how relieved I am. Over the last week he's been getting better and better. Hopefully by the time we on hols in May he'll be reliably sleeping-through!

Pixiewoo I m gcing as I saw this on homepage - I have posted the identical thread in toddler.

I too have tried cc but to no avail so hoping the 'he will get there in his own time' approach will work......

I guess I have to count myself lucky as for the first 8 months of his life he woke at 4.30am for the day, at least we make 6 now with one wake

I'm pleased you've seen some improvement, fingers crossed it continues and gets better for you.

Don't want to frighten you but my niece didn't sleep through until she was 6, yep 6 years old. The doctor told my sister that really intelligent kids often had sleeping problems and he thought my neice would be a very clever little girl!! So, there you go, you might be tired yourself but you could have a little genius on your hands LOL xx

Am cheryl i have a daughter who is 15 months old,she never selpt through the nite up untill a month ago she use to wake up 3 to 4 times a night frm birth up untill she waz 14 months old.but now she goes to bed between 6.30-7.00 n normaly stays in bed till 6am on a really gd day 7am.but before we use to start the day 5 in the morning.we did feed on demand with her n babylead weaning which has worked really well.

am glad to here everything has gotton better.
