Hi
Has any of you ladies suffered with ovarian cysts or fibroids?
Been getting a lot of pelvic ans stomach pain over past few months which has become more frequent and more painful recently ( i neary passed out with the pain at work yesterday) so i went to docs today and he thinks i may have them so sending me for a scan. Dont really know much about them or what will happen at scan so any info would be great.

Well i went on Wed and they didnt find anything. Also checked for kidney stones while i was there. So got to go back to docs in 10 days to see whats next. Good news although still in pain and not sure why!!!

Sorry, I don't know anything about them really but didn't want to read and run. Really good you are getting checked out for them, and I hope you get sorted soon. Sounds like you have been having a nasty time pain wise xx

Sorry I too have no idea about them but I hope it gets sorted for you as it does not sound too good!

Hiya, have you had your scan yet? If not its nothing to worry about its just the same as the kind of scan you have when your pregnant. I've had cysts on my ovaries but to be honest they don't do much for them, first time they found one I had to go back for a sabo 6 weeks later and this time they think one had burst but still waiting to hear from my consultant. Keep us posted on how you get on. Oh and the nhs website is really good for info xxx
