Hi ladies

Hope everyones doing well. I got my scan date through today. 11th may I'll be 12+5. I thought we could start a thread so we know when everyone has theirs and can share our experiences, just let me know if you would like to be added.Can't wait

Sob! This is where Aussie practice hugely differs from the UK.

Over here it is up to your GP to refer you for a scan before 16 weeks, something that I didn't know until my appointment came through and I rang the hospital asking why it was so late... So as standard I have a scan between 16 and 18 weeks (although mine is actually at 15+0, go figure), then another scan at 18-20 weeks. It's odd that the two are so close together but there must be a good reason I guess. I'm seeing my GP today about a referral for a nuchal scan, I'm 11 weeks today so running out of time rapidly to get one in! I'm just glad I had an early scan two weeks ago while I was home!

As soon as I have my '12 week' date I'll pop back

Just got mine....24th April, I will be 12+6. Nuchal screening done at same time. Fingers crossed for us all xx
