Well still not sure if everything is ok they can see a sac but nothing in the sac yet said it could be cause still to early or could mean that the pregnancy has stopped progressing but still to early to say which got to have more bloods tomorrow to see if hcg levels increasing and will be booking me in for another scan in 2 wks if they think they need to that may bring it forward though. Another shock is that if everything is ok and it is still to early cause still only 5 wks not 6 wks till Friday there were 2 sacs. Don't know what to think at the min praying everything will be ok just so worried at min.

Hmm if there are two sacs that would surely elevate your hcg enough for you to get a very early bfp?  Is it possible your dates are out and you are not as far as you think?  What is your gut instinct?  How hopeful did they seem.  2 weeks is a long time to wait, I would have thought it would be just 1??

I know i'm not more than 5 wks at min i think this friday will be 6 wks but may be a day or so out. They said it's to early to know anything yet it's gd that my hcg was increasing on the last bloods but got to see what they come bk tomorrow they said that there going to keep a monitor on me and if they think they need to might bring the second scan forward. The doc was honest she said it's just to early to say whats happening at the min as long as my bloods keep increasisng thats a positive sign think there going to keep doing them every 48h over the next few days to monitor it until scan.

Fingers crossed for you that your bloods show your HCGs rising as they should be.  Try not to worry too much about the dates, these early scans can be very unpredictable, a friend of mine has gone from 3 days behind to 2 days ahead from her 7 to 10 week scan.

These babies are so teeny at the moment, it's difficult to get accurate readings.  Do they think 2 sacs means twins?

I had a scan last time at what I thought was 6 wks & I was only measuring 5 so all they saw was a sac, a week & a half later I saw a heartbeat. Unfortunately that pregnancy did end in miscarriage for me.

5 wks can just be too early to see anything so try to stay positive & hopefully you will have 2 little heartbeats to talk about in a week or 2.

wishing you all the luck libby for your next scan, iv had 3 scans and two of them they could only see the sac as it was too early, they booked me in for when they thought i would be 7weeks and i finally got to see my littleone, hope it all goes well for you and wow that means you might be seeing two heartbeats!, hope these few wks fly by for you xx

Thanks everyone you've helped ease my mind a bit and spoke to a friend of mine who had twins and the beging of the year she had exatly the same symptoms as me and had to have an early scan at 6wks and was the same with her at the first scan could only see the sacs but a wk later could see inside and heart beat so keeping everything crossed. I'm feeling a bit more positive about it now will no more after my bloods tomorrow.
