And am now very excited! It's a different midwife to last time, but I should see her throughout my pregnancy which is nice. She was lovely. Really reassured me that I've got a good chance of having a VBAC, maybe even a WBAC if all goes well! I am classed as High Risk, simply because of my c-section, so will be seeing a consultant at some point to discuss my last delivery, and my hopes for this one, but not until after 28 weeks.
Makes it all feel a bit more real now!

Just realised I wasn't given my maternity prescription exemption form. Have other people got theirs at booking in or do they not give you them then anymore?
Hi Ali! My baby was facing sideways from around 28 weeks of pregnancy. He stayed there when I went into labour. All progressed fine except for meconium in waters, but then i was pushing for an hour and made no progress. When they examined me during a contraction they found every time I pushed, he went back up, so decided they best whisk him out! Was yours an emergency? It was the thing i was dreading most about the birth, but actually was such a relief when they put the spinal in as i'd only had gas and air, and it was all over in no time! Didn't get to do skin to skin until we got into recovery though which made me sad.
I filled in the form when i went to see doc and got the card about 10 days ago.
I'll get a bounty pack when i go to hospital appt at 12 wk. Don't think i got and emmas diary stiff before?!?
