Has anybody else experienced a sharp shooting pain. It goes down the right side of my pelvis and is really really painful. It only lasts a second or so but keeps happening all the time.
This is my second pregnancy but I didnt get this last time. It isnt at all like the dull achy crampy feeling that goes right across my tummy and that I know is completely normal, this is very painful and down one side.
Any thoughts?

Morning Wif, i hope your shooting pain is gone hun. Don't really have any clues to offer as this is my first and I have nothing to compare it to, but what I'm fast learning is that there doesn't seem to be "normal" with pregnancy  It's probably just little bean making themselves comfortable. But if it's painful and still happening throughout the day it might be worth calling your GP/MW, to give you peace of mind over the weekend when it might be harder to get hold of someone, iykwim xo

Yes - I had this with my first one and am having it again this time. Is it mainly when you try to do something like turn over in bed, sneeze, etc? It's probably Round Ligament Pain if it is like I describe. I was told in my last pregnancy as long as it's a quick pain and not constant, and doesn't get worse, it's just your ligaments and muscles loosening up and twinging, and nothing to worry about. Mine has worn off over the past few days

I had it last week (end of week 6) lasted about 3 days and is gone now. A dr friend told me it was prob just the uterus stretching, only worry if bleeding too.

Thank you everyone
That has made me feel a bit better. It seems to only happen in the evenings when i am trying to get comfy.
I hope it isnt here to stay, it bloody hurts.

Hi Wif! Can't believe I'm joining you in here!!! Hope your twinges settle down. I remember getting something similar last time so think it's one of the joys of pregnancy... Xx
