I have been waiting for the burst of energy ever since I first started feeling tired at the beginning and I am still waiting. I am a lot more tired now than ever before and my body is trying to compensate the energy lack by making me permanently hungry or sick if it's not hungry anymore.

Is anybody else still that tired? I am 19 weeks now so thought that I would be full of beans by now  It's really getting to me as I work in research and really need my brain back from sleepy land every day.

Its pure fiction! In my 1st pregnancy I didnt get a burst and this time still not burst I guess If I'm being picky I maybe a little less tired but not really I think Ive just got used 2 being so tired. I thought it was just me so I'm very glad I'm not the only 1.

get the mw to check your iron levels. that was the reason for my excessive tiredness last time round, and also this time round, although this time she hasn't prescribed me any iron tablets (despite low levels).

she recommended i take Spatone (basically water with iron in) - have a look in the supermarket or a chemist for this. i've just started to take them in the hope it gives me a bit of a boost. it's perfectly safe (and actually recommended) for pregnant women xxxxx
