28 hours and counting!!!

I really feel for her but this wait is killing me, we don't know what she is having yet and I am so excited!! I have never been privy to the "in labour" bit only ever the "baby is here" bit and it is so exciting but I hardly slept at all last night through checking my phone for an update!

Pointless post but just one very excited lady here!

that is so exciting, I hope she has her baby soon and you get some sleep tonight

My best friend just had a baby 2months ago and we talked on phone whilst she was at home still and not sure about whether she was in labour or not, that was 4pm, she then went to see midwife for a quick check and they kept her in and her bubba arrived at 10 past midnight I was well shocked when I got an email with a piccie of her lil man at 1am

Aww I went through this over Christmas . Its great isn't it?! My friend started at 1am and didn't go to hospital until 4 or 5pm (I think) so it was lovely to send the odd text and get updates from her. She had a c-section at 6ish the next morning and rang me herself at 8.30. It was fab

Hope our best friends are as excited in 5 months time :lol:

It is so wonderful to be included in the excitement of the labour stage but my head is going to explode soon if I don't get an update!

I have just text her husband but no response yet, if I don't get a response in the next 30 mins I am hoping that means she is pushing with all her might!

Just as I was typing this I got the message that baby was here, Sophia Elizabeth, 7lb 11oz.....awesome news, I am so happy! xx

I don't think they will have her christened but an "Auntie" at the very least! (as she will be to my baby!)

Awwwwww and a playmate for your baby too!! My BF had a little girl 4 months before I had mine and they love each other!!
