Hi Ladies

July has seemed a little quiet of late. Are we still all on here? I'm not sure if there is Facebook Group, but I'm not into that, so it's just BE for me.

How is everyone doing? I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and getting quite a few tightenings (Braxton Hicks?) now. I'm also getting extremely tired, especially in the afternoons... where I sleep for about 2 solid hours - bliss.

I'm still feeling movement too, but a different type of movement, sometimes quite painful, where I'm guessing its coz she's running out of room!!!

Still got my cold, which is hanging around. I really just can't wait to meet our little girl. I keep walking into the Nursery and looking at everything......ahhhhh!

Hi, yes it is quite quiet on here. I too am not in a facebook group so just BE for me in getting tips/advice and support.

I am 38 + 3 but not having any symptoms yet at all. I keep wishing for labour to start but then get all nervous again... it is such a weird time waiting for it to happen knowing it could happen at any time!

Enjoy those afternoon naps, have one for me! My 2 year old doesn't let me sit down for 5 mins, not sure how on earth I will cope with her and a new born especially if I breast feed... will see what happens as and when it all kicks off!!! Other people do it so I guess it is possible!!!

Hi there, yes the facebook group seems to be quite busy - 3 announcements today I think!!!

Sorry to hear your cold is still with you ZSL, bliddy pain in the neck arent they!!! Wish we had a nursery for LO but we cant do anything until we know the sex but i remember walking in and just opening the wardrobe with my little girl - was very strange having a pink row of clothes after 4 lots of boys!

Roo I know what you mean about running round after a 2 year old, mine has also got quite clingy of late so dont know what she will be like after next Thursday (23rd) as im having a section then at 38+5!!!!!!!! I know how scary is that? Placenta hasnt moved so no other way for bubba to get out safely eek!!

Ah well, im supposed to be resting with feet up because of placenta previa but it makes my SPD worse and then i cant walk which kinda defies the object!! She also told me to keep my knees together as much as pos - my knees havent met for years due to my thighs he he he!!!

Take care girlies and hope to hear BA's soon

yes I think the Facebook page gets a lot of posts it seems very busy. I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and I know what you mean about the more painful movements I'm getting a lot of them. I get a real pattern of movement now and its late when baby settles down which is very different from my first.

Z - glad you're getting some sleep in the afternoons its the best thing if you can get it. Sometimes I take a nap if my little boy is in nursery, or even if he is happy to play in my room or watch a dvd for a bit I can get 10-20 mins of resting with the occasional micro nap.

I'm starting to get quite uncomfortable now, SPD is pretty bad in the mornings so MM_OMG I can sympathise.

My little boy is also giving me plenty to do although he is very good I can't complain, but he's got a physical disability so needs quite a bit of extra care than the average 3 year old so I'm finding that is getting a bit harder, I'm using my toes to pick loads of things up haha its quite funny really.

I'm starting to really look forward to the late summer now though, and early Autumn is my favourite time of the year so I'm thinking this may be one of our best

Hi Ladies

Good to hear from everyone, so FB does seem pretty busy then, think a lot of us switched over after they changed this site!

Roo - good to hear from you - you are a few days ahead of me. I keep waiting for labour too, have had a few twinges in the night, but guess I will know when REAL labour starts eh!!

MM_OMG - wow, you get to be a mummy again next Thurs - best of luck and I look forward to reading your BA/BS.

Emma108pd - hope you are feeling a bit better today....

PP - don't desert us - its nice having you to chat too on here!! If it wasn't for you, I would still have no idea how to upload pics!!

30somethin - sorry to hear the SPD is bad, like the idea of picking things up with your toes, lol, the things we have to do when pregnant eh!!

Well, its Father's Day today, am just waiting for hubby to wake up as I got him a little card.....ahhhh

I don't post very often but love to read what everyonje is getting up to.

I'm 36 weeks tomo, and baby I have a feeling that baby is still in the breech positoon, despite my efforts on all fours and my gym ball! Done a lot of research on csecs so don't feel as scared by them as I initially did. I finish work this week - thank god! so will then be able to finish my hospital bag and sort out things round the house. We virtually finished the nursery yday - still need some 'Baby art' if anyone has any suggestions, and I pick up my new car on Friday - so excited! I know it sounds mad at 36 weeks that I still have so much to do!

ZLS - I too have a horrid cold - The runny nose has pretty much gone but the cough is awful. I'm waking up virtually every hour as I can't breathe properly bc of the blocked nose and sore throat at night, and when I actually cough it is so raw and chesty it worries me. Have you been taking anything for yours? I think I'll nip to the GPs on Wed to see if they can give me anything too.

Eek re. Father's Day - my hubby also has a personalised card waiting for him from bump (I got one of our scan pics on the card courtesy of Moonpig.com!).

Take care and enjoy the relaxation before baby arrives x

Hi RS - lovely to hear from you.

Sorry to hear you are suffering with a cold too - its rubbish isn't it. Haven't really been taking anything, just trying to ride it out really. Have had it 2w already, since the start of my mat leave in fact - great timing, eh!

With regards to wall art, we got some great stickers and things from ebay - worth a look.

Best of luck with finishing work, I was soooo relieved when I did I must admit. And enjoy the new car!!

Love Zxx

Hi Z,

We went for the Babystyle Oyster in the end. When we went to an independent retailer they convinced us to have the Oyster over the Sola. I still like both but the Oyster folds up smaller and is lighter than the Sola so I went with that one.

Love wheeling it round the house pretending there's a baby in there!

Will take a look on ebay for prints etc - thanks

Hi everyone

Good to hear how everyone's doing. Sorry to hear a couple of you are suffering with colds, always the way when you get a chance to relax you come down with something!

I'm still on here, but not posting loads - though I do check lots for updates etc! I'm not on the FB group so this is the only way for me to check what's happening

I'm not as far along as most of you, as my due date was moved to 3 August. So I'm jealous of all the babies due to arrive any time now! I can't wait for our little bundle to arrive - I'm impatient to find out if it's a boy or a girl

We are moving on 1 July, so cutting it a bit fine but will hopefully have time to settle & set up the nursery before the baby decides to come along Will keep me occupied now too as I'm already finished at work.

I've had a few tightenings, and feeling a different sort of movements these days - baby seems a lot more squished in there these days so some of the movements are quite sharp and painful.

Can't believe how quickly we've got round to July!

Hello, sorry I have been popping back every so often but have been hectic with work and I can access the facebook group easier on my phone ... can't wait for maternity leave so I can get my feet up and indulge a bit more time in keeping up to date with everyone on here and facebook.

Hope you're feeling better ZLS23, I had a similar thing that I had for about two weeks and have only just really shaken it off. My hayfever hasn't helped the situation either!

Good to catch up with people on here, hope everyone is keeping well and looking forward to more announcements! xx
