booked an early scan!

Hi,

I am a bit excited, we have booked an early scan for sat 27th Nov, when I will be 8-9 weeks. I just couldn't wait till after Christmas to know it is ok. (due to my surgery being so busy with pregnant ladies, my booking in isn't till 1st dec and not sure I will get a scan until after christmas).

I hope this baby works out, I have all my fingers and toes crossed all the time!!!!

how exciting, we had one at 8+3 with our DS but i dont think i can twist hubbys arm this time x

Oh thats very exciting! I would really like to have an early scan as I am so scared and anxious. OH looked into it and it was ??????150 so he is now not sure.

oooh exciting! im seriously considering having an early scan too but not sure as I will probably have my 12 week scan early/mid decmeber anyway so it seems a waste of money when there is not long to wait.

I may also have a gender scan at 16 weeks with babybond so I can find out the sex - I have no patience and im desperate to know what we are having

i am getting a 4D scan about 26 weeks not sure what week yet but O/H was the one that said we are having this and i was like yay and he said hes doing over time to make the money up

yay!!! its so reassuring having that early scan and makes it all feel a little more real i think. we had a 4d scan at 20 weeks last time round as dd refused to open her legs or move her hands haha but it was the worst decision as by then the have no fat so she looked like a little scary alien and was just bones x

yay! we are thinking of booking one for the end of next week/beginning of the following week, when i should be (fingers crossed) about 7.5 weeks.... too scared to book it yet though! xxx

Thanks, yes am so excited!!! I just am hoping and praying it will all be ok when we have this scan... fingers and toes crossed!

It is with Proscan in Nottingham, costing ??????75. I think any more and it would have been out our budget. Having said that they have said if they find it is twins they will charge ??????125!! (Think the liklihood of that is very slim, I hope!!!)

i really want to book an early scan, company near us does them for ??????50. not got my booking appointment till im 9 weeks cuz its so busy so cant see me having my scan till after im 12 weeks. feel a bit anxious to wait that long.

??????50 is such good value, babybond was over ??????100. ??????75 was the cheapest I could find. I must say it has made me feel weirdly more relaxed knowing that I will see what is going on inside me in two weeks time. It doesn't sound so far away, I just know I couldn't have waited for the 12 weeks to have some reassurance everything is ok. I'd say go for it if you can afford it!

ive booked it for the day before my booking appointment and ill be 8+6 so only 3 and half weeks to wait xxx
