I'm due July 4th so very close to you, it's also my first baby and it also took us a long time to conceive - this is actually an IVF baby for us Congrats on it being a girl, that's so exciting!!! We're having a surprise so staying team yellow.

Anyway, welcome hun, look forward to chatting over the next 3ish months!!.x.

Ah congratulations on your pregnancy, it is so exciting isn't it. I can't wait unti she is here, am getting a bit fed up of being pregnant now LOL.

Am having a down day today so was nice to read your lovely response.
It's nice you are leaving the sex as a surprise, have you any ideas what it could be??? Old wives tales and that ha ha.

Look forward to keeping in touch for the next 3 months and beyond

Thanks! It really is exciting, still somehow feels a bit surreal even though I can feel bubs moving and kicking away...I think it took so long to get here I still can't believe it sometimes! I don't have any major strong feelings about what it is but if I was pushed I guess I would say girl...mainly based on old wives tales actually!! They say if you have morning sickness, spread out at the sides and have bad skin etc during pregnancy it tends to be a girl...all of which I've had!!! Saying that the chinese predictor thing said boy which a lot of people say is pretty accurate! Also, baby's heartbeat tends to be around 148 at scans and they say above 140 is girl...so I guess I'm leaning towards girl!! How do you fit into the old wives tales, are most of them right for you seeing as you know for sure it's a girl?

Sorry you're having a down day anyway hun, any reason in particular or just those fun pregnancy hormones? Hope you feel better soon but am here whenever you need a chat .x.

Think its just the hormones :? My hubby is at work until 1000 tonight so just a bit down cause on my own until then and it is a lovely day today. Sorry to sound so pathetic.

I did the quiz after I found out was having a girl and according to old wives tales I am having a boy LOL but the chinese one came back as a girl so it is defo more accurate

Can not believe there is a human being growing inside me it still seems madness especially when she is kicking and wriggling away Hubby felt her kick for the first time yesterday and he was really happy especially as it was his birthday.

Looking forward to the chats over the next 3months+. its nice to have smeone to talk to who is at the same stage.

Ah not pathetic at all!! Especially when we know hormones are involved  Totally understand how you feel, my DH isn't home till 10 or 10.30 tonight either, Wednesdays and Fridays he gets home about 9.15 and Sundays he's out all day too, so I miss him A LOT!! Some days I'm fine and enjoy time on my own and am out doing things but other days I really hate it and am desperate for him to come home (I do contract work and when I finished my last one it didn't make sense to start another time wise before bubs was born!). Whereabouts do you live? I'm in London and it's absolutely GORGEOUS here today, definitely a day I wish DH and I could be out in the park together.

Haha,so maybe the chines predictor will be right and I have a boy in there! I really can't wait to find out, it's been so tempting at scans but I'm going to do my best to last till the end. I'll have to just keep changing how I refer to bubs every few days like I have been so far to try and keep it equal...I swap from 'him' to 'her' fairly regularly!!

I know what you mean, that's how I think - there's an actual human in there, a tiny person!! So crazy. What a special day for your DH to feel her kick for the first time yesterday, he must have been thrilled!!! I think it's lovely for the dad's to start feeling it as up till then I think the pregnancy is so personal to the woman, but once they can feel it too it becomes much more real for them. I love it because our little one really recognises my DH's voice now and when he gets home in the evening bubs goes mad kicking away, especially when DH puts his face right on my belly and chats away to him/her - he always gets massive kicks in response! So cute

My baby is the same as soon as hubby comes in and she hears his voice she starts wriggling and kicking. Its amazing.

I don't knw how you have kept it s long not knowing if it is a girl or boy. I needed to find out so i could buy some clothes although have gone a bit over the top already LOL.
I understand though that you want a surprise, it will be so exciting at the birth for you both.

I'm in Sheffield in Yorkshire. I can't believe how blue the skies are today for a March day

I know what you mean about spots sheffield. I have had a right outbreak of them and like yourself never really had them before.
I was really sick and tired in first 3 months and every now and again will be sick if I have ate something she doesn't like LOL.

Yea I love that babies can recognise their dad's voice, and I think the dads must love it too, I know it puts a big smile on my DH's face when our baby reacts to him.

I don't now how I've lasted without finding out the sex either...but as you can see from above there are a few of us yellow bumps on here!

Millysmum - did you have strong feelings of what your DDs would be beforehand? Just wondered if you normally guess it right

Sheffield - you have a great mix of symptoms, so hard to try and guess what you're having based on that! They do say that the mum's instincts tend to be right though so maybe it's a boy

In regards to the weather - I'm normally such a sun worshipper but I went to sit outside about an hr ago and only lasted about 2 mins as I was just too hot! Imagine what l'll be like come real summer in June when we're 8 months!! No tanning for me this year I have a feeling  .x.
