Ah not pathetic at all!! Especially when we know hormones are involved  Totally understand how you feel, my DH isn't home till 10 or 10.30 tonight either, Wednesdays and Fridays he gets home about 9.15 and Sundays he's out all day too, so I miss him A LOT!! Some days I'm fine and enjoy time on my own and am out doing things but other days I really hate it and am desperate for him to come home (I do contract work and when I finished my last one it didn't make sense to start another time wise before bubs was born!). Whereabouts do you live? I'm in London and it's absolutely GORGEOUS here today, definitely a day I wish DH and I could be out in the park together.
Haha,so maybe the chines predictor will be right and I have a boy in there! I really can't wait to find out, it's been so tempting at scans but I'm going to do my best to last till the end. I'll have to just keep changing how I refer to bubs every few days like I have been so far to try and keep it equal...I swap from 'him' to 'her' fairly regularly!!
I know what you mean, that's how I think - there's an actual human in there, a tiny person!! So crazy. What a special day for your DH to feel her kick for the first time yesterday, he must have been thrilled!!! I think it's lovely for the dad's to start feeling it as up till then I think the pregnancy is so personal to the woman, but once they can feel it too it becomes much more real for them. I love it because our little one really recognises my DH's voice now and when he gets home in the evening bubs goes mad kicking away, especially when DH puts his face right on my belly and chats away to him/her - he always gets massive kicks in response! So cute
