Ah thats brilliant fridaybride id love that to happen to me! Im predicting around the end for me so will despair if they actually say early feb ahhhh! ( thought i count myself lucky in any way!).

Mummy2bn2 and mummy22littlegirls, when is your scan? i opted not to make the chicken the other night as it was really grossing me out, so my oh made pizza instead. Didnt repulse me! I need to stop eating so many crisps to 'settle my stomach' lol. i had been so good since jan healthy eating and managed to lose almost a stone and a half and now me being me, i can talk myself so easily into these things again!!!

Hello ladies - Im always checking on here and must say its been extremely quiet! I usually come on during my lunch at work.  Welcome to all you ladies that havent posted before

Im 13+3 today and sickness has started to go (touchwood) and tiredness is easing. But think i have a touch of sciatica starting - hope this isnt a sign of things to come!! Working full time in school with rowdy teenagers, going home to my mardy 13 year old daughter and 2 year old son keeps me busy and thats without all the housework.....

I always loved my coffee too - but have totally gone off it and the thought of eating some foods that i used to love makes me gag now lol - no eating too much during the day although have started getting crisps and chocolate everyday with my sarnies  - must stop this!! And then snacking loads after ds 2 has gone to bed - last pregnancy i put on 4 stone (but son was 11lb 9oz.....ouch!!) and took ages to shift it! I already look about 6 months pregnant - no mistaking im up the duff lol xxx

Lovely to see all these posts!! I too am suffering from a bit of sciatica. Had it last time but it only lasted about 6 weeks thank goodness.

I thought I had turned a corner with sickness and feeling ropey, but I'm 15 wks today and still feeling rough some days. Cooked spag bol last night which is my fave thing but really struggled to eat it, and felt miserable after as I hadn't enjoyed it! I was 16 wks last time when I remember thinking "I actually feel good again"!! Can but hope it's the same this time.

MsT04 can totally relate to the spag bol thing. i was supposed to make it on sat night but couldnt! Had packet of pasta instead. Even the thought of it now urghhhh. I am trying to soldier on and make normal dinners for my oh sake but really all i want is small things like toasties etc.

Fridaybride is so weird that you asked about finding out sex as me and my oh had this discussion on Friday night!! I had been telling him about my friend who is expecting a boy and he got all animated and asked how did she know, duh! so then i told him it was at one of her scans and he asked if we could find out. We didnt find out with our other 2 and i have not one bit of inclination to find out this time. No way! I find it so exciting waiting and wondering the whole way through and then the suprise at the end is the icing on the cake! Also up until recently our local hospital had a policy of not telling parents the sex but that seems to have relaxed a bit recently.

Hello everyone. i am currently sitting in work very distracted looking random things up on the internet like 'most popular baby names 2012' and travel systems. Oh its going to be a long 6 months.......lol. Please tell me you are all doing the same thing. Not at the same time obv. Ha. Feel like im going nuts. Are we all thinking of baby names etc already? Hi nic45 - Yes, you do get baby obsessed!! I'm always looking on ebay at different things - today it was new sterilisers and maternity trousers, what will it be tomorrow?!!

We've already come up with a few names - hope we stick with them as I like them. But plenty of time to change our minds, and we have one or two friends/family having babies before us so you never know if they might "steal" one of our names!!

As it's number 2 we already have our pram etc, so no need to be looking those up. But I'm always on the lookout for a new changing bag!!! My all time favourite is a Storksak Elizabeth bag, but they're about £195!!!!!!!!!!! When I win the lottery!!!

Oh the stress if someone 'steals' your name. Haha. We all try to pretend we would be laidback and cool about it but i would be peed off!. Have a few girls names and 2 boys names picked. Aaah the excitement!

Well I really should have all prams, equipment etc from other 2 but 1st travel system never worked right (wonky wheel) so then i borrowed my sisters for my 2nd and then used maclaren strollers from about 6 months anyway. I still have those so think i would be stupid really to fork out big money for a pram im really only going to use for 6 months? But its nice to look.....
