3d Scan - My baby is due in Feb 2012

Went for our 3d scan yesterday and it was ok. All in all we were a little bit disappointed as Baby M refused to co operate! She was lying all folded up with her hands and feet covering her face. I tried hip jiggling, Coca Cola and a walk around the block- oh and some Jaffa cakes. After waiting another half hour in the waiting room we went back in and she was in an even worse position, Now with the cord draped over her face!
Got one semi decent pic and the good news is she weighs 2'lb 11oz and my placenta is now longer low lying..so at least that's less of a worry.

I was looking out for your post hun, and Im sorry to see you were felt a bit disappointed by it. I know some places will book you in for a re-scan on a different day if baby doesn't co-operate so thats a shame. I know they arnt the cheapest of things, is it not worth putting a complaint in and seeing if they offer you back? Yay for Baby M weighing 2lb 11oz though! And brill news that the placenta is no longer low lying.

We have our 3d scan on Friday, will let you know how it goes x

Aw sorry it wasn't as you hoped. Our little one was the same when we went for a gender scan but the scan people were lovely and booked us in for another free scan on another day when all went perfectly.
Brilliant news about the placenta and your healthy buba though, not long now and we'll all be meeting our little ones for real

Hi ladies,
I'm in two minds about whether to get in touch with babybond.I've looked at the photos and they are pretty poor.in fact only one 3d one.rest are black and white regular ones.we paid a hard earned ??139 and I'mdisappointed.
I know its not their fault,baby does what baby wants lol but I expected a bit more..like,you say maybe an invite back at a later date.
I haven't even put the did on as I know it

Id probably give them a ring and have a chat with them about your disappointment or send them an email- not to get angry particularly but just to let them know that you feel like you haven't got your moneys worth and you feel a bit let down. You never know they may offer a re-scan for you.
I know they can't help what baby does on the day but the company I used were very nice and said they offer a re-scan if baby doesn't co-operate but obviously if it happens a second time that is beyond their control. For that much money you expect to have some keepsakes to treasure not just one 3d of poor quality.

Yes you are right. I spoke to dh and he said email and say bit disappointed. I will and see what they say.I don't even want another dvd.just a few decent pictures. X x

I would deffo be getting in touch with them. Like Mrsmcsweeney said, you don't need to be angry, just explain how upset you are by the quality of images and the amount of money you paid. I know baby bond are quite a well known company although Ive never used them myself. Hope they get back in touch with you soon! xx

Just emailed them and explained that whilst I am not complaining as such (staff were fab) I am disapointed that we have not got a clear headshot of the baby and that based on the price paid I dont feel like we have had value for money.
Just worked out that with this bubba and with Holly we have spent over ??500 there

so watch this space. I am hoping we may get invited back. Gratis of course :lol:

i hope it will all work out for u, i dont see why they wouldnt invite u back, plus i'm sure they are depending on 'word of mouth' advertisement and it doesnt cost them much to do it again for...
