Have any of you started to show yet? I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and people have started noticing a bump! I've been feeling a bit bigger around the waist for a couple of weeks and trying to 'pull in' as much as I can but all of a sudden there seems to be a definite bump...

No way! Makes it very difficult to hide doesn't it? This is my first so I wasn't expecting to show until at least 16 weeks - that's about normal isn't it? I'm only 5'4 so I suppose it hasn't got anywhere to go but out

Hi ladies! I'm 8+4. I'm plus sized so spent most of my time sucking my tummy in but now it hurts to do this as everything is pushing against my stomach muscles. The only way I feel comfortable is to let it all relax but when I do this I look about 6 months pregnant- but I know this is weight weight, not baby weight! xx

gonnabeamummy im 5 foot 3 I think its really random when you start showing. I know another second time mum who is 20 weeks and smaller than me at 12 weeks ( im normally a size 12/14). Maybe im having a boy this time Either that or my stomach muscles are rubbish after having the first baby x

I'm 5 foot 1 and usually a 10 - 12 depending on if I have been a good little gym bunny or not. Now I am definitely not a good little gym bunny my biggest 12 s are the only ones that fit comfortably. Am feeling it most around my upper thighs in tight jeans and waist has gone completely. Am very self conscious as I have always struggled with my weight Nd its only in the last year I got down to this size. It's all jelly belly at min not bump. With ds I was neat, didn't show until abt 14 weeks and was all bump. No spread to bum or legs but yen I was 2 stone heavier to begin with I suppose. Think this time could be a girl . The old wives tale that says girls sap your looks may apply. I am so spotty, broken out in eczema on my arms and I had my highlights done and thanks to pg hormones the dye really really took! Lol am very blonde all of a sudden! I went to my local new look today to buy some cheap mat pants but they no longer stock the mat range. Am gutted guess will be breathing in for a couple more weeks until I can get to the bigger town x

I am really spotty too bluestar - I have problem skin anyway and was really hoping it would clear up when I got pregnant (it did on the pill and aren't the hormones meant to be similar?) but no..still just as bad! I'm hoping that I'll reach 12 weeks and my skin will magically clear up

That's annoying about New Look - I live in a little town where there are no high street shops whatsoever - you have to travel 20 miles to find some decent shops!

Devonmummy, when did you start to show with your first?

15/05/2012 at 21:18

Yep, definitely. Although not sure how much is still 'bloating' as opposed to an actual bump. I am usually a size 8/10 and my size 12 jeans from when I was bigger (pre-wedding loss!) are too tight round the tummy now. Bought some maternity ones from Gap on Monday. Sooooo comfortable with an elastic band - I may never go back to Levis!

We took a photo of me in my bra & knickers the day we found out and took another at the weekend (about a month later) and I look SO different. Boobs have gone from 34B (34A in strapless bra!) to a mahoosive (well, for me!) 34D! Hubby is beyond delighted?!

Really want the next 3-4weeks to fly by so we can tell people and I can stop having to try and dress to hide symptons!!

Yes it's so annoying to have to try to hide it! I've spent so long hoping for this and now I have to try to disguise it - it's crackers!

16/05/2012 at 20:19

YES! I am overweight anyway, I am 5'2 and a size 14/16- so not noticing it so much on my tummy, but same as you dotty, finding it really hard to suck my tummy in as it hurts! This isn't good as i'm off to Crete on Saturday! My boobs have got enormous, which DH loves, but i'm finding annoying because it means loads of my clothes that I was relying on being able to wear for a while due to their non clingy nature, now don't fit over my boobs at all. Had to buy 2 new bras at the weekend and seem to have gone from a 36D to a 36E! Grrr!
