Who else is more nervous than excited?? - My baby is due in Aug 2011

Me!!!

This is my 2nd pregnancy but I had constant early bleeding (only light mostly) with my ds from 5 weeks - 11weeks pg, 2 early scans and the first 16 weeks (until I heard the heartbeat - my last scan before that was 9 weeks- they used that as my dating scan which I was gutted about!!) were hell. I dont want this to happen again but ofc u never know!

I'm 4+4 (due 31st july but ds was late!) and just so nervous!! I really don't want a MC and my biggest fear is having an mmc where you don't even know :cry:

I can't afford a private early scan but am just arrrghhh when I think of waiting till 12 weeks or more!

Anyone sympathise??? I'm planning on telling family at xmas when I'll be 9 weeks as they'll guess anyway with not having a drink xxxx

yeah I do hun. I found out I was pregant last year early dec, then mid dec I had bleeding but too early to see anything on scan, so we had to wait til inbetween xmas and new year for another scan. That was fine, there was a heartbeat. Then at 12 weeks scan in Feb there was no heartbeat. Nightmare. So I founf out I was pregnant on Tuesday and then last night I had pink spotting. Petrified but determined that everything gonna be ok. We must keep our PMA xxx

Me too. I got pregnant in July and lost the bean at the end of August at about 10 weeks, very nervous about this pregnancy now but still so excited.

pinkorblue, so sorry to hear about your mmc, that must have been heartbreaking. Let's all keep the PMA up for each other and hope the time 'til our scans goes quickly

i know what you mean about worrying about mmc i have my scan tomorrow should be 12+6 and am really really nervous. fingers crossed everthing goes well for both of us

So sorry to hear that some of you have had mc's before, I had a ch pg last month and that was bad enough so I really do feel for you girls.

FC that this thread will be very happy with lots of healthy babies born in August, eeeek! :lol:

I am very nervous, I think its sad in a way as it takes some of the excitement away. When I saw the positive test my husband and I were pleased but more like 'hmmmm lets just see how it goes' as we have had bad experiences before.

Fingers crossed it will be a healthy nine months for all of us x

Hi ladies I totally agree first thing hubby said to me with the bfp was....try not to get attached to it!! That made me feel sad but as we have had so much disappointment before!! I am so scared yet can't help feeling excited, I don't have my doctors appt until 14th dec that feels ages away. Good luck girls hope. We all have a h&h 9 months av everything crossed for us all xxx
