Feels like ages since I've been intouch with you all and its only a few days!

Got my early scan date through 23th Dec, excited and nervous, also booked to have the flu jab, is anyone else having it?

Hi, not enjoying the new site much, but hey ho - only just found DIAugust as it wasn't on the drop down.

Just wanted to say that I have had the flu jab they are recommending for pg women (I think its combined seasonal and swine flu) but I didn't have it while pg; my GP gave it to me after I lost lil man as the indication was that it was a virus that had caused his heart defects. Luckily I have a very sympathetic GP and she gave it to me on a routine check up as I had concerns about having it when pg.

There isn't any evidence that having the jab while pg causes any problems but I am just hypersensitive following my experience.

Hi! I have missed this place the last few days! Am just over five weeks pregnant, still getting mild period pain type pain but not all the time like it was when I first found out. Don't know whether to call doc and book flu jab or wait until I have first midwife appointment? Xx :?

hey all, i've just got my scan date through as Tuesday 21st December, so glad we will have pics to show the family over Xmas and not have to lie about drinking!!!!

Ok i thought the reason we couldn't post was so they could save everything!

I'm not sure about having the flu jab. How can they know how safe it is for pg women? They can't test it first.

a lot of peoples names have been changed.

I'm now 6+2.... feeling of queeziness coming more and more now...

I have my 1st midwifes appt on the 13th jan....and am waiting for my scan appt to come through in the post

morning ladies
6+4 today and nearly heaved this morning when i took the 4 flights of stairs to my office too quick. other than that the nausea is only mild and occasional for now. praying it stays that way!
got my first gynocologist appointment on the 23rd of dec and will see what happens from there. i def want to have a scan in jan as were going on holiday for 3 weeks at the end of jan and i want to put my mind at rest before we go.

Morning all, Finally our 'empty' forum is back, lol

Hope everyone has been ok, I was in tears 2 days ago coz I started getting brown discharge and had AF pains/cramps too, Had it for 2 days and seems to hae eased off now, with the website being that didnt help as i couldnt talk to anyone, just bad timing i guess.
I have been reading its common between 6-8 weeks, so sort of relaxing now still getting symptoms.
Boobs already look massive, looking abit fuller and perkier, had the 1st morning sickness 2days ago same day i got the brown discharge, I just heave now, thank god i hate being sick!
Im already finding eating a meal a chore, struggling to eat any savoury meal, like fruit at the minute, hopefully that means im having a girl lol considering that i have bad spots too on my face, they are horrible, i havent left the house since apart from going to work.

Hi ladies,

Nice to be back

I have started to feel quite rough the last few days, constantly feeling sick and REALLY struggling to eat as I just don't feel like anything so have been living off cheddar crackers and mints!!

I am a veggie and have been for 15 years but yesterday all I felt like eating was tuna...so I did! Eeeeek! Can't believe it but guess I need to listen to my body.

Am still getting very painful cramps, especially in the night and I also had a tiny bit of brown cm but has stopped now.

I rang to book in with midwife and was excited as you normally get scanned at 10 weeks in Wales but she was fully booked and can't see me until 31st Jan when I will be 13 weeks! Waiting longer for the scan is bad enough but I really thought I would at least have had my first appt with her before then.

So I think we are going to book an early scan for 5th Jan when I will be 9 weeks

Sorry for the long rant, have had withdrawal!

Hi Ladies,

Not liking this site at all! They changed my username to something really awful, tried changing it back it wouldn't let me. I was LadyP but have now had to change it to LadyPandbean!!

Well i am 5 weeks tomorrow and not feeling to bad. Was having af cramps last week but they seemed to have eased now and hardly any symptoms now which is worrying!

Have missed discussing thigs with everyone and just hope i can get used to this site as not a big fan at the mo :evil:

I had my early scan this morning and bubba is in the right place with a little heartbeat. I cried was so relieved!

Have to go back in 2 weeks as they saw something else that is likely to be a little implantation bleed but they want to check it's not another bubba!xx

Hello everyone,

Im new to Due in august, 13th sparkle is due, Will be our second child Rory is 2 in january...

Been feeling really sick (had terrible morn and afternoon sickness with my first for around 6 months) So im hoping i don't get that again! although its not looking promising!

I cant remember the first stages of pg very well so has anyone else been all of a sudden super hungry to the point that you feel sick then you don't want anything coz you feel sick?
Also have really sore boobs and really tired, its knackering working and having a terrible two's toddler!

Hope everyone else is well?

Welcome Kaygles! There are lots of us but all the threads not yet been posted over!

I didn't actually see the heartbeat as I was sobbing but the nurse could see I was terrified. Have never been so scared in my life. Was same room as last time when my bean was ectopic.

She just got the scan in really quickly and immediately told is it was in the right place and there was a lovely little heartbeat and bubs measured 4.1mm which is about right as i'm 6+1.

Said should be able to date me at the 8 week scan and see of the other little area is an implantation bleed which is v common or another little bean!

I'm not getting to carried away as very early days but am hugely relieved our baby is where it should be and is doing everything it should be. xx

Hi girls,
Well now that I have finally got logged in they changed my username so it would not let me log in,

It's ok I guess will just take some getting used to,

I am suffering alot from morning sickness now, my boobs are bigger and sore and since this is baby number 3 for me I'm already starting to show can't fasten my jeans up.

Got my midwife appointment on 11th Jan and I'm still waiting for my scan details

Hi Girls!

Im feeling ok now!which is worrying me a bit!!

At the start of the week i felt really rough, tired, headache and nausea. Was sick a few times 2 days ago, but since then no vomiting!Have only felt slightly nauseas these past 2 days so am really worried - does it just come and go? My boobs are still really sore and size bigger and im still needing to pee a lot!Did a test again today which was positive but just so worried as thought once id been sick it would just get worse!

Have a private early scan on the 29th when i will be 8+4 so am wishing the time away till then. Also have midwife on 5th January.

Congratulations on seeing you bean mafia princess.

Am chuffed for you mafia, glad it went well and you could see HB.

Looks like im gonna have to force myself to eat, hubby keeps moaning at me coz i dont eat enough, i know he means well but i cant help it. i feel so ill at the minute, never felt so rough in my whole life,my concealer has just run out so cant cover the mountains on my face!

Feel so bloody ugly at the minute.

Gonna try and eat a tin of soup or something. I know it will all be worth it in the end but god i didnt realise it was gonna be like this. Anyone else so moody at the minute, its horrible coz you cant control it and i feel so low all the time and i just want to be happy for once lol.

Might speak to midwife on monday about having an early scan as this discharge is scarying me abit, just to give me peace of mind.

Hello all,
I'm due 4th August with our bug and we've already had an early scan and seen bug with a HB <3
I feel very sick this time round which is great, LOL!
We've got an appointment for our 12 week scan which is on 27th January plus.
