Was fantastic such a good service! Had some bleeding saturday so naturally thought the worst!!

However they got me in for a scan this morning and i saw my little bubble! Just a lump with a flicker of a heart beat! amazing! Although it is only measiuring at 3mm which apparantly at 6 weeks its normally 6 mm... Alhough as long as it is healthy i do not care!

Very happy mum to be for the 2nd time!

It is surprising how lovely people can be...you always hear horror stories about hospitals but i too had some bleeding and pain in the night, went to a&e and every staff member was so nice, sympathetic and understanding. I too had my scan and everything was luckily ok, they told me at 5+4weeks that my precious little bundle was 2.2mm and that was absolutely fine for how far gone i was so i guess they tell you different things at different hospitals lol. It was so lovely to see that little flicker though wasnt it?

Don't worry about the size can be anything from 2mm to 4mm at 6 weeks and your dates may be a bit out!

Mine was 4.1mm and they said tehre was a definite heartbeat but I didn't see any flicker. Hubby said he heard it but don't think he could have?? I can't remember anything but having 8 week scan so will ask about that.

All my scans being done at EPU and they too are fab xx
