How many outfits are you planning on buying in first size?

I have bought 5 so far but I do have some sleepsuits and vests. Not sure if I should get some more? I have a few suits in 0-3 months. My last baby was 8lb 10oz born and grew really quickly.

I guess if this baby is smaller could go and get her more if need be

I have gone through my newborn and 0-3 month stuff... I have 5 nb outfits, 5 sleepsuits and 2 vests. I have also bought a nb coming home outfit (thought a new one would be nice for this baby rather than having ALL hand me downs!). I have a lot more 0-3month (Ethan was also 8lb 10oz so looking at a 9lber this time eek!!!) and have bought a couple of extra bits but its mainly going to be 3-6 mth stuff that I will need due to the difference in seasons at that stage.

As you say, if you need smaller you can always go out and get some.

i havent bought any so far. i wanted to get the big stuff out of the way first (cot, pram etc). still only have pram though. i feel so disorganised!

I've not bought any yet either..actually I've not bought anything at all for this baby! I'm waiting till friday when we find out the sex to start buying and then I'll go through ds' old clothes to see what he/she can wear. x

I find it very difficult as they are predicting a hot aug but since when were they right? And because I had nothing from previous little ones I bought quite a few things. Mainly sleepsuits, west, shortsleeves, a few rompers both in newborn and 0to6 months. I still feel it Wont be enough but I will buy As we go along to make sure I get the right stuff. We had a sale yesterday in our town with amazing kids clothes so I got lots of nice things. So excited about it.

wow you're all so organised - im 21 weeks and having nothing.

Still got stuff to do to the house, dont have the room to store baby clothes till i have the nursery sorted!

Also am a bit superstitious. I dont even look pregnant so it feels too early. I want the hard stuff with the house done first, hoping its not too much of a trial to treck round mothercare and babys r us when more heavily pregnant.x

alfie222 - im glad im not the only one who hasnt bought anything yet! im 23+2 and we also wanted to get the nursery sorted out first. its now used as a guest room/office so we need to get rid of some furniture in there first. i probably wont buy many clothes until the summer although its sooo hard as there so many really cute things around. next up is the cot hopefully this weekend.

Havent bought hardly anything either!! Getting worried when I see how organised some of you ladies are!!!

Last night I bought some stuff from mothercare, not clothes but new bottles, sterilser etc.

We do have a lot of neutral stuff from our ds but I keep trying to look at clothes but its making me feel a bit anxious. I cant quite put my finger on why, its like I cant quite believe that it is going to happen and all will be ok and our little girl will be born!

20 week scan on Monday so am hoping that helps.

Ive got 10 nb sleepsuits 6 vests and a few other bits and bobs. Ive bought five nb sleepsuits that are really nice to take to the hospital. Im buying 0-3 now.
