Symptoms - My baby is due in Apr 2012

Hi everyone!

I'm new and i'm expecting my baby on the 15th April.

Just wondering if anyone has any symptoms?

I am absolutley whacked!! cannot keep awake! And i have stomach cramps like my af is on its way, when obviously its not! Keep running to the loo to check its not there!!

Anyone else have the same?

Hey,

Congrats on your news!! I've just found out too so very excited/scared/nervous etc. Its our first so not really sure what to expect.

I'm totally knackered too and have been feeling pretty sick since yesterday although not actually been sick - just feeling it. Feeling very bloated too & a bit of mild stomach cramps. Just really feel as though my period is on its way so can't quite believe this is happening yet, still in shock!!

So glad you said that I'm EXACTLY the same! Couldn't keep my eyes open at work today and having some really strong AF pains for last week. Although it's reassuring to have symptoms I'd rather not have ones that make me think AF on it's way. Having had 3 mcs already I dread going to the loo as it is!

I've totally been the same with af niggles. Properly stressed me out but it's calmed a bit now and I'm just shattered all the time. Had bad constipation and wind too which is fun!
I've booked a private scan at 7 weeks to relax me a bit particularly as I'm having to tell some people early on.

I'm glad someone else has mentioned constipation as i've had that too & wasn't sure if it was normal. Are any of you having problems sleeping? I've been waking up about 2-3am feeling sick then can't get back to sleep for a couple of hours.

Also, how do you go about arranging the early scan? I assume its different depending where you live? I'm seeing my doctor on Friday so can ask about it then but i'd really like to get one as 12 weeks seems so far away!!

Lorna - With my little girl (now 2) I suffered awful insomnia. I would be exactly the same as you - wake up feeling sick and then would lie awake for hours trying to get back to sleep. I hope I don't get that again this time. I think in most places you have to pay for an early scan, Usually around ??60.

I am feeling a little tired at the minute too but running round after a 5 and a 2 year old might have something to do with that :lol:

Hi ladies!

So far, I have sore bbs, weeing a lot, gassy, af type pains on and off but not too bad, slight nausea and mildly, the opposite of constipation!! Sorry for tmi!!! I keep waking up properly when my alarm goes off too whereas normally I snooze it for at least half an hour!

Thanks hun, good to hear someone else has experienced insomnia too, at least I know its not just me. Keeping everything crossed for you that you don't have that problem this time round as you'll have enough on your plate running round after the 2 wee ones without no sleep to top it off!!

I'm definitely going to ask my doctor about the early scan as ??60 totally seems worth it if it means I can get one in a few weeks time rather than wait til 12 weeks - that seems too far away.

Hi ladies, lovely to chat to you all on here! This is my first pregnancy and praying everything goes well. I've just booked my early scan for 30th September, when I will be just over 8 weeks (have a holiday between now and then, so will be distracted). Just hoping that everything is still going well by then.

Glad you all mention imsomnia - I have been waking up at 4am every night for the past fortnight and not being able to sleep for a couple of hours afterwards. Also have very very sore boobs, nausea (but not actually been sick), and starting to feel quite tired (but could be because I used to drink so much caffeine and have more or less cut it out!)

Looking forward to chatting to you all over the coming months xx

hello mummies =)

i have a DD who is 3 an have had 2 mc the past year!
feeling very positive about this pregnancy =)

4 weeks=BFP
4+3=sore boobs and af type cramps
5+4=af type cramps gone, boobs so so sore
6 weeks=morning sickness an the whole works!!!

Just found a company on the Internet for my early scan as unless you have bleeding, pain or previous issues i believe you are unlikely to get one with the NHS. I think it will be ??80

I've had quite bad cramps too and am tired. I've also been a bit gassy, I keep having to undo my jeans in the car on the way home from work! This could just be because I'm trying to be extra healthy and eating loads of veg!

I've been really tired. I was feeling really sick but that randomly went last week. But today it's back with a vengence! I did have sore boobs but they've gone now.

I have sore boobs, AF type niggles (not cramps as such, more like a bit of an ache)its hard to describe but hopefully its just my body changing, I have to get up in the night to pee and im sooo tired. I was in bed by 9.30 last night and thats only beacause I couldn't go at 8.30 :lol:
