Hello I'm in the middle of stimulating, my question is is when I have my embryo put back would you take time off by getting a sick note from the DR? I work on a chest medical ward as a staff nurse, it is a busy and demanding ward and I will not get 'light duties' no matter what they say. Very torn as not sure if I should rest or just carry on as usual. Any response is gratefully received.

When i had my first cycle of ivf i went back to my desk job i didn't want anyone to know or to make a big fuss of it. i got a negative test and i was devastated.
I've just had my second try and i was signed off this time. i wanted to relax and feel like I've done everything possible to make it work. i highly recommend taking the time off as i got a positive result on Saturday!! good luck!!
