Hi Becca, I'm new to the site today as well. I fell pregnant in my last year at uni so had to juggle pregnancy with finals/dissertation etc. I can't say it was too bad - think a baby and uni might have been more difficult though.
Look forward to chatting.

hello and welcome, my husband is doing a PHD at uni and we are due our first too. We both finished our undergrad courses in 2008 though, and we have friends who became pregnant in their 2nd year and had the baby to cope with in the 3rd, they had their 2nd this year and the husband is in his final year of a PHD.

You can do this hun u will be fine.

I have a 1 year old, I am 20 years old myself, I go to college 4 days a week and have about 15 hours a week essays etc. I can do it. She attends nursery, with some finical help from college, otherwise i would not be able to attend.
I am going to uni next year, I know I will be fine and it's all for my daughter. I m not lying it's hard, but u will cope. Just stay strong I have hard time and think 'god i need to stop this' but why? If i stopped i would have to go to work so there is no difference.
You will worry etc, but just stay strong x
All works out fine, just have to get in a pattern x
All the best with pg x

Im new today as well
I have ID twin girls who are almost 1 (OMG lol) im 19 and i was pregnant with them when i was doing my A-levels and i managed and i now go to college i had a year out admitedly because i wanted time with them and also because of when they were born! December is the middle of the academic year lol! So i Finished a-levels June 08 and had em December 08 and Started college Sept 09! The college are grwat and give me extended deadlines and the girls go to creche with financial help from college and my mum and partner take turns looking after em when i have big pieces of work to do! I dunno if i could of done it without them and that crucial year off its hard but totally worth it!
Congrats on your news and dont worry about it enjoy your pregnancy

Hi, I have a little girl who's nearly 4 and am preggy with baby number 2.
I was in college full time, plus travelling, during my first pregnancy. I coped fine and was permitted leave Christmas time when I was 8 months gone. I left the house at 7.30am and returned home at around 6pm.
It was hard work but once you're in a routine it's easier to stick to. I was given work to do at home and returned to college later-they allowed me to re-do my second year rather than try and catch up, mainly because I was studying horse management and there was a lot of riding and practical work I had missed out on.
Talk to your tutors, they should be understanding and make arrangements to ensure it's do-able for you to complete your course!

Hi, I'm in my 2nd year BSc with a 5 yr old and we're TTC no 2.
It's not easy with kids but if you want it enough it can be done! Most important thing is to get into a routine and do work as soon as you get it - you never know when you might have to take a few days off cos lo is ill.
