Peter was three months old yesterday and, much to my own surprise, he is still fully breast fed! After all the pain and problems we have been through getting this far is a real triumph. It has even reached the stage where it has become comfortable enough that I am pretty sure we will make it to six months. I am so proud of both of us but I couldn't have done it without all the encouragement and advice from you ladies. Thank you so much!

Congratulations on making it to 3 months. I've only just come to this forum, so don't know about the probs you've had - but BF itself is tough enough, let alone when you encounter problems with it. Well done for perservering!

Aw well done hun, that's fantastic! I know how difficult it can be and can take a lot of determination to carry on through the problems and pain that can go with bf. Nina is 3 months today and we're still fully breastfeeding too! x

congratz and a huge well done to u. breastfeeding is no easy task especially all the hurdles u've faced. i only managed 2 weeks of exclusive bf, but at 10weeks i'm still mixed feeding and am proud of that cos at on stage i thought i cldn't handle it anymore but i'm glad i persevered cos i'm really enjoying it now. my goal now is too make sure he is still having at least one bf a day at 6 months.
ur doing a great job and it sounds like ur well on track for the 6months.

xx

Aw, thanks ladies! This forum is such a great support system. I really would have been lost without you.

Woomummy, missymoo and siany, well done to you guys for making it this far too. Bf'ing, whether solely or partially, can be such hard work, but so worth it. I even found myself enjoying the 3 am feed the other night (okay, so I really am going round the bend now!

Congratulations the History girl - I think that our LO's are born on the same day - 2nd march... We have also made the 3 month mark. I did think to myself that things now feel established, my lo can latch herself on herself, and as long as I feel like I've got lots of milk (sometimes I don't eat or drink enough good stuff for her!), it is great. x
