it hasnt been as easy with MJ as it was with Ollie - she was a lot smaller, has a tiny tongue tie and she has reflux, she was jaundiced for about 5-6 weeks.... she fed every two hours, and still does, although I've found it much easier for the last 4 ish weeks...
Ollie just opened his mouth and off we went...

Hopefully it will be easy for you 2nd time around :d

i have to say, for me it has been much easier! the only thing is looking after dd1 at same time as feeding dd2!
the art of bf though, has been much easier, no probs at all! its bloody hard work with 2 however you feed them i think, so i'm glad i've carried on bf. dd2 is 7 months now, and i will stop when she wants to.
good luck with new lo, how old is your other one?

I bf my first for 9 months and in the begining it took him a while too work it out (3days stuck in hospital and very sore nipples a not much help from the midwifes) but in the end he got there!!! This time however lo worked it out straight away and because i knew what i was doing it was much easier!!! It is still just as tiring for me as the first time round and have found myself after only 3weeks not wanting to carry on but once i get over the first few hard weeks then ill no ill be fine as its just lack of sleep making me feel that way.....but im going to stick at it for at least 9 months if not longer I think as you managed it for so long last time then you'll be fine this time!!!
good luck

i know this is an older post but wanted to reply, i couldnt bf my oldest son, despite trying for 10 weeks, but with my 2nd son now 9 1/2 months i bf for almost 6 months (only stopping as i needed to get a job) it was hard work to start off with but was so worth perservering, and found it a lot more convenient i travelled a lot lighter as i never had to remember to take bottles with me, never having to wash and sterilise bottles was great too!!! xx

I found it much easier the second time round. I didn't have any of the discomfort & pain that I had with my first and also felt very confident about breastfeeding. I bf my first for just about a year and still bf my 2nd who is 5 months. I actually think I would find it harder to have to be oganised with bottles and do all that sterilising. Lot's of luck.x

I breastfed my son a long long time back for roughly 6 months. But however this time we are thinking that I am carrying twins and getting it confirmed hopefully this week. how on earth do you breastfeed two. I have been in contact with the La Leche League who are wonderful and very helpful look them up x
