Good news: we've just built and set live the two functions you have most asked for last week:

  • the ability to edit any of your posts (hover over the post and you'll see a blue 'edit' button in the bottom corner')
  • a 'followed threads' page where you can kep track of all the threads you are following, with the most recently-updated ones at the top. The link is in the forum subnav bar on all forum pages:

I hope they help. They're both new functions, so do let me know if you spot any gremlins.

Meanwhile, our developer Paul is working on a few other tidyups, including all the weird html code you occasionally see if you paste a message in. I'll keep you posted.

all the best

Sean

Hi, is there a way to change the title of the thread I created? Or rather, add to it? Thanks

Not at the mo, but I can make the change for you if you let me know what it is?

It's the 'symptom spotters anonymous', I'd like to add 'A lucky thread, six BFPs and counting!' Thanks a lot

Sorry to bother you again, Sean, but we have 11 bfps now;) Maybe it would be easier if we could change the descriptions ourselves? Thank you!

Sean any update on being able to type a message and copy and paste from word? It's getting really frustrating now and I don't find myself coming on here as much as I used to.

Thanks

Done (I bet it's 14 now??) I've added editability to the wishlist but I think it might not be soon I'm afraid

Sorry it's been slow. It's getting there; the developers have found a way to make it much better than it was but still has trouble with bullet points. I'll ask if they can set live what they've done so far

15/05/2012 at 12:57

Thanks Sean, I don't think many people use bullet points anyway

I want to use this website to look at the birth plan.  It says to log in to the member centre and fill in the personal interactive checklist, but I cannot find this anywhere? Can anyone help? I am a member and logged in?

I can ask the editorial team. Could I ask, where did you read ' log in to the member centre and fill in the personal interactive checklist?'
