You should test. At 5 days late it would show positive if you are pregnant. I felt little electric shocks in my tummy on the left when my baby implanted, I then got a positive result a couple of days before my missed period x

Test! Test! Test!

Fingers crossed that you get your bfp.

The symptoms all sound promising.  Most tests will be able to detect once you are 4days past your due date for AF.  If you can wait 2wks you should get a very quick positive result when you do test as your hormones will be of sufficient levels (though it is hard to resist the urge to test).

Nope dilemma, I'm going to 40 next year and I'm just pregnant. Good luck.

Im 6 wks today, already have 4 boys from 2 - 7yr old and my husband really doesn't want to go ahead with this baby, I have an appointment with an Abortion Clinic tomorrow but not sure I can go through with it, this pregnancy was not planned and we have worries with my health having a PE (clot) on my last baby and also have a thyroid problem.

If i'm honest I am also worried that people will point fingers at us as we are too old, my husband being 48 he says it's too much responsibility to have another, I am in turmoil.

What a terrible position to find yourself in. Whichever choice you make tomorrow will have huge impact on your life, relationships, mental and emotional state. I know that you and your husband won't take it lightly but please take the time to listen to each other as well as talk it through completely as there is nothing worse than, "I wish I had told you that......" at a later date.
I wish you all the best for whichever path you walk down and please remember that you're not walking it alone, you have your husband at your side.

41 Is not too old! As long as you don't feel too old yourself.

I know many ladies in their 40's who are more than active enough with their young children. Obviously there is an increased risk of things like down syndrome, but all the test should be made available to you to know either way.

Like with most things in life, if its what you want then go for it!
