Totally un-baby-related but just wondered what cars do everyone have? Im kinda bored i guess. We have a grey Nissan Primera Estate and (brand new woo hoo!!) blue Mitsubishi Colt, although oh tends to use the new car and i get lumbered with the Nissan as i usually have the kids, except when i work weekends and oh is at home with the kids then i take the new car :\) as Colt only has 3 doors so easier to use the big car for who evers got the kids xxx

I have a ford fiesta (Y reg)

My OH has a ford capri...thinks he's Delboy haha. He loves classic cars. It doesn't get used that often though as it's totally impractical for Gabe and it absolutely drinks petrol!!!

I have a vw golf (used to have a clio on finance and got rid of when when that ran out. It was a lovely car but wanted 5 doors and had been in a nasty accident in it)

My dh has a mini one. He had a wesfield which he loved but sold it as wouldn't go in it once pregnant and no space for a baby lol

this is actually how i found this site!! i put a general search on google about which car fit 3 car seats in the back, and someone else had asked the same question here!!

i ended up with a BMW X5 (my oh worked for them - it's not what you know but who you know!!), and i must confess, i know all about the yuppie bits etc, but i would recommend a 4x4 to anyone with more than 1 kiddie, as there is no hassel with prams and shopping in the boot at the same time etc. i can fit all the seats in - just!! and it means after we didnt go anywhere as a family for 9 months, we now do!!

My renault scenic blew up on the way home from the hospital 3 days after my emergency c section. I now hate renaults with a passion. I've now got a nissan almera estate which is ok but dull. Our other car is a white van (OH is a rock climber and "needs" it for trips) which was very useful but now useless as no room for a baby seat.

OH drives an Audi S4 Avant (like an A4, but with a 4.2litre engine) I drive a BMW 120d. Untill recently I had a Saab 93 2.8T but paying for two cars that went that fast was getting silly so I down sized!!

Tigerlily, I am very jelous! Capri's are sooo cool in a retro seventies kind of a way!

I have a new corsa (57 reg) I love it. just about fit my pushchair in but it is a big one. Hubby has bmw 3series which is a works car.

Bedhead, they are great cars arent they!

My oh is 22 - the car is as old as he is - older in fact lol!

I drive a VW Passat W8 4Motion. Looks the same as a normal Passat but has a big engine and 4 wheel drive. Not my choice (I want a nice sensible estate car lol!) but OH is a car nut and has ALWAYS wanted one of these (apparently!) so we had to have this. He drives an older diesel VW Golf which I hate. I say it's a rattly old bus, he says it has character. Hmmmmmmm.........................

I have the new renault clio, its abit of a pain in the arse coz its only got two doors but i manage really well with a toddler and a 14week old and i dnt think id change my car coz its quite sporty with all the body kit on (in a nice way not a chav way) and i love driving it. Prob wudnt recomend it tho if uv got to or more kids coz it can be a pain in the backside. Kerry xxx

Ours is a Ford Galaxy, only a P reg but it's a 2.8 V6 and drives lovely......totally a practical choice for us with 4 kids and another on the way. AND despite what most people think, we have no trouble getting a double buggy in the boot!!

I have a Citroen C3 and OH has a Ford Focus which we call the family car. He did have a Nissan Skyline but he sold it when we found out I was pregnant because it was so expensive to run and too tiny for a baby+all the extras they need!lol He keeps saying one day he will have a midlife crisis and buy one again...he can dream.

I have a Toyota Corolla and I like it although it is only 3 door but it is fine with only me and Kara. I might change it next year to a 5 door.. My husband has a Subaru and he just loves his car. I would never get it if I wanted it.

I have a Nissan Primera, which I love as it has a massive boot and can fit 3 car seats in the back (I had Peugeot 106 until Braedon born and we realised we couldn't fit pushchair in the boot!). Hubby has an old Peugeot 306 which we are borrowing from my brother after oh crashed his escort into a field!
