Jacks 6 weeks 2 days old and has a sniffly nose and cough. Its making him more unsettled than normal. OH, Kelsie and me all have rotten colds with sore throat and cough so not suprising he's caught it. I've got a chest infection too so feeling dougbley rough.

Can you see the harm in giving him calpol?

He's so close to being allowed it, but dont want to hurt him.

Thanks

I think the main issue here is not age, but weight, because of dosage. If he is over the specified weight, I think it should be ok.

it goes on weight, dr told me that, if he is a good weight then it wont do any harm, max has been having it since 5 weeks. xx

I took Chester to the docs yesterday as he has a cough and cold to. He said that is goes on weight really - chester is 10 weeks but the doctor has told me that I can give him the same dose as a 3 month old as he is a good size, but you need to get the doctors advice first as every baby is different

it does go on weight, you can use the 2+ months version once they weight 4kg+
