Just wondered if you need to replace dummies & teats for your next baby? I have lots of dummies & different size teats that I no longer use for my lo, she is nearly 5 months old & not sure when we will have or next one, it just seems such a waste to bin them all? just wondered if anyone knew if its best to buy them all new for the next one? thanks

My lo is on fast flow teats now. We went from slow, meduim and now fast. Ive thrown all of my slow and med teats away. I just presumed you hav to get new every time. Mayb Im wrong. Wer not planning to hav anymore kids for few yrs yet tho.

Hi hun,
I've been told you should replace your teats every 3 months ( I use mine a bit longer) and dummies if you can see any damage on them. I would buy new ones for a new baby x

I never replace my teats or dummies, I don't see the point as long as there's no damage to them. I wash and sterilise them thoroughly so whats the point, I think its a big scam to make money from the bottle companies! If I was planning another one soon then I'd keep them for the next one, however I'm waiting until Gabes at least 4 so I'll prob chuck them!

I think you are advised to replace them but Nathan only used his slow flow teats for a few weeks so I am keeping all those and the bottles for if we have another (oh keeps teasing me as I say I dont want any mor but cant bring myself to get rid of anything "just in case"). I will probably keep the medium flow teats too.
I will probably get new dummies but thats mainly because I love buying them anyway, but also they do get a lot more use than the teats.
Your say
